In today's economy with the cost of food for home or eating out so high, choosing to spend $9 on a milkshake isn't one made lightly. Some time has lapsed since visting Clevelands but have supported the store since opening in east Miramar. We walked in over the weekend and were met with terrible customer service immediately. Gone are the days when staff would shout out 'welcome to Clevelands'. The person helping us mumbled and couldn't hear what he said. Instead of explaining samples are no longer provided, he pointed us to a sign across the room that was impossible to read. I can't think of anybice cream store that doesn't offer samples to know what their food taste like. It's a tiny drop on a mini spoon. Instead of getting the 3 dishes we intended to get which would have been over$30, we settled for only a milkshake, which was a flavor that has long been a favorite. After getting in the car, i quickly realized not only was the customer service horrible but so is the flavor we have come to appreciate. There lacked quality of ingredients and flavor. When i got home i read review after review on how poor the customer service has been and management has failed to address. I have never felt more unwelcomed in...

Continues to be the best ice cream I have ever tasted, and I love ice cream. For those familiar with the natural tasting ice cream of Devon House in Jamaica, imagine that and more.

A cross section of pleased customers are always there being served by some of the most pleasant staff I've ever encountered. They also encourage you to do as much sampling as you would like, and there's a lot to sample.

Some of my favorites are the Grape Nut, Rum Nut (a mixture of grape nut and rum and raisin), Dragon Stout, and now the new Rum Cake. What is interesting is that, before having these flavors at Cleveland's, I wasn't a fan of them. I am more a coffee/chocolate/butter pecan/chocolate chip kinda man, but this place definitely makes you broaden your ice cream taste with its unique, decadent flavors.

I almost forgot, the servings are very generous and the options reasonably priced. Another standout is how firm and creamy this ice cream is. I usually buy a quart to go, and 40 minutes after getting home, it's barely melted. I only hope Cleveland opens more branches, especially where I live further north...
