Conch Krawl | Bahamian/Caribbean Restaurant — Restaurant in Miramar

We ordered almost $50 worth of food and we'll NEVER go back. My order of conch and fries was horrible!  The conch pieces were like minced crumbs, the fries were old  looking and everything tasted as if it was fried in OLD oil.. I attempted to call the same evening but they were closed, continued to call Saturday, no answer for hours. Finally the "daughter" answered. I explained to her how I was dissatisfied with my food to the point I didn't eat it. She immediately said "sorry"then said we do not offer refunds or exchanges and to refer back to my receipt.

After going back and forth for a bit, I asked for the manager("Ms. Edwards") and of course she was not there at the moment but was told she would be in @ 7:30-8pm. So I stated, "I will be there". I go with the food and the "daughter" was even more rude in person. She kept stressing their no refund/exchange policy. Like I explained, I'm not asking for a "refund" and didn't even bring back all of the nasty food, I just wanted them to make good on what I did not eat. She stated your husband was showed the food before leaving and although that may be the case , TASTE is totally different. She precedes to ask me to leave and when I refused she calls the cops, but little did she know, I was on public property and had ever right to stay.  Long story short the manager never showed.  It amazes me the level of customer service these small business have......ZERO!  Like I told her, what type of business feel the need to put a no refund/ exchange policy in place for FOOD! Make it right and there won't be a problem. I will not patronage their business ever AGAIN.  Furthermore, how do you charge the customers 1st but then have  such a finite policy in place.  As I scrolled through the reviews, I realized people shared the same complaints. This is the absolute worst food I’ve had in a long while. 😭 For one the service sucked, granted it seemed as though they were training a new girl at the register. We ordered the fried snapper dinner and conch fritters. Once we got the total We were confused as to why the order was 33$ rather than what we initially thought. Turns out they price gouge the fish depending on the size, which was not made known to us until after the tab was paid. A woman that seemed as though she was a supervisor of sorts told us after the fact once we went back into question the price. After that ordeal once we went back into the car we decided to read the reviews which was something we should have done beforehand, if we would did before we would have never ever in 30 years came here. We were told a 20 minute wait time which turned out to be longer than that which is fine I guess since everything is made to order. The fish is so fresh and unseasoned, it tastes as though it was grabbed straight out of the ocean into the frying pan. The Mac n cheese taste worst than any boxed macaroni or even school macaroni I’ve had before. Do not get me started on the cabbage that I had to spit out into a napkin. Worse place ever. The food was horrible, conch fritters taste like badly seasonsed greasy bread with no conch. This is absolutely not Bahamian food and I'm offended as a Bahamian they would pass this mess as Bahamian food. I ordered grilled snapper and they gave me fried snapper and slapped sauce on there, it tasted like rubber. The cabbage was so overcooked it looked like gray baby food, it was so mushy, there is no nutrition or vitamins in the food left after that, these people are terrible cooks, it was not even seasoned well, taste like they boiled it in water and put salt in pepper on it. The service is OK but the wait is ridiculously way too long for food that's that bad, they tell you 20 minutes and you wait one hour or more. If you order over the phone and go pick up your food, you will wait at least 40 minutes just to pick up your food. Don't waste your money or time, you're better off eating at KFC, at least there greasy food taste good and is seasoned well. I paid $23 for garbage. Too expensive for really bad food, that takes up half of your day to get, do yourself a favor research places before you go and PLEASE DON'T EAT at Conch Krawl in Miramar, FL, nasty food, terrible cooks, too much time waiting, NOT authentic...
