Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers — Restaurant in Miramar

Started off great…

Upon arrival was greeted by friendly staff. Service at the counter was great. After my four person party ordered meals and sat down I forgot that I needed to get change for a 20 dollar bill I wanted to use. I went up to the counter and asked for change for a 20. To which the friendly server replied “sure”. The manager came over to open the register and said no. I said “why not? My group just ordered 4 meals and sat down to eat I just need to break this 20” he said “no, I’m not a bank”. He then followed up with how I needed to rebuy something again. This was ridiculous. There is a much nicer way to go about things. After this he went to check on every table inside and outside except ours. Assuming to avoid confrontation or just wanted to avoid us all together. We were unable to get a name for him. I did get a picture. For privacy and respect u did not add it to this review but I showed the manager who I was referencing. Also for validation purposes our check numbers were 10011 and 20021 on 10/27/25 12:11 pm.

After speaking to a different manager who seems like they were higher up the chain. Manager Marcus came by offered his apologies. I explained to Marcus how this seemed uncalled for and that if it was their policy all the manger needed to say was that it’s against policy and they can’t. Not create a smart remark. He came back with a free meal voucher. And I explained this isn’t what I was looking for just to address the issue. He insisted and apologized again.

Aside from this hiccup the service was great and the staff was amazing and the food was great as per usual. I was originally going to leave a two star review but given the circumstances, I changed it to a four...

I placed an online order and went in to pick it up. It was ready but the drink was wrong. I let the girl know that it was wrong and she looked at me clueless. I asked her if she could help me fix it and she said she didn’t know how to. So I approached someone behind the counter and explained that there was an error on the drink. Again the clueless look. I asked about a particular cup that they were offering online for $1.39 extra when you bought the combo. The combo was already paid for. They wanted to charge me $4.69 for the cup. I asked for them to do a refund and ring it up the right way for the cup to be included and again clueless and with an attitude. I paid the $4.69 plus the large drink I already paid for which came out to over $6 for someone not trained on how to issue a refund and rearing the entire order up the correct way. First and last time I will visit Raising Cane’s Miramar. The young man that took my order was polite but that’s the only positive take away from my experience. I paid in cash, was given the incorrect amount of change. When I explained what the change should have been, the young lady looked confused as if she had never handled cash before. I wasn’t going to explain the math, what was given and what change should have been again. The food was also so oily it was gross! Not sure if they were too busy or rushing but the fries were full of oil and chicken was worse, looked pale and extremely oily as if they didn’t cook it the correct amount of time and didn’t let it drain oil from the fryer and went straight into container.
