Dairy Queen (Treat) — Restaurant in Missoula

It's funny how people drive up to this place not knowing or caring that the place is over 60 yrs old and then complain that there is no drive through. You see that there is no indoor seating. You stand outside and order at the window. It is in a residential neighborhood. They don't serve hamburgers and fries. Clearly, there is something very different about this little ice cream stand and to most who stop by, something very special. For over 60 yrs, this place has been serving up happiness and nostalgia to the many thousand of customers who have dined there. Of course, there is no drive through! They weren't even invented yet when this place opened. If you are too rushed or impatient to park your car and actually open the door and trouble yourself to walk over to a window to place your order, this place is not a good fit for you. Otherwise, marvel at the experience and enjoy your day. Great food....

I'm not usually one to leave reviews and I usually always have such great experiences with this Dairy Queen specially, but tonight was kind of dissapointing. I went through the drive through and upon reaching the window, I received no greeting whatsoever. The whole experience was just kind of awkward and I don't think any words were just barely exchanged between me and the cashier in the window. Upon receiving my food, I wasn't sure to pull off or not as I hadn't been told to, or given a sign to. Ultimately, I pulled off and when I arrived home found no fry sauce in my bag which I had specifically asked for and upon taking a bite of my burger, it was honestly dissapointing. The bun felt chewy in a way and the burger just didn't taste right. I understand being busy, as I work in fast food as well, but I still would like atleast a small greeting to let me know whether I can pull...

Probably won't go back again. Ordered for my son a cheese dog, he also wanted a order of pretzel sticks with queso and a drink, I got a freeze. Pretty sure they charged me twice, no recipe but said they only charged me one time. I'm a disabled vet, so no discount. I was at a different DQ a day before and it was $4 for 2, this one was $5 for 2. I asked when it changed and she just looked at me and turned around. Got the food. My freeze was more of a Kool aid. The hot dog my son said had no flavor and threw into the garbage. The drink was ok he said. We opened up the queso and it smelled bad and looked burned and was maybe a quarter full, it went into the garbage. So he just ate the pretzels. So not a very high review. The older couple setting at the bench there said they were very disappointed in the food and service as well. Guess I'll see about the charges on my bank card on...
