The food was great, but be prepared for the worst service imaginable. We sat there for five minutes before they would even bring us the menus. We had to lean out of the booth to get the servers attention if we needed anything, and most of the time he acted like we weren't there. It wasn't busy, there was one other group of people there, and they had to yell to the server across the restaurant to get him to help them with anything, not once, but TWICE. New Mexican Restaurant in Laurie, Mo. I really hope this place makes it. Went for Sunday dinner and it wasn't busy. Server was very helpful and friendly. Restaurant was clean and didn't smell of smoke. The bar is located in adjoining area that is separated by a door. Had the Enchilda mexicanas, Steak and chicken nachos and a combo dinner. I typically like to dine in. There is always open seating available. The staff are very nice. The food is good! You definitely get a large portion for the price. Daily specials are available as well. Everything appears to be sanitized. EXCEPT FOR THE BATHROOMS!!! The soap containers are filled with water, NO SOAP! And I don't think either restroom has been throughly cleaned/ stocked in a few years at least.
