As great as my sandwich was, I can safely say I will never be back, at least not to this location. I went in with my infant who has a severe milk and egg allergy. I kindly asked if they would mind changing their gloves as I noticed they wore the same gloves for every sandwich. The young man (who was training) was very kind and had no issue. The woman training him asked me what the allergy was to which I again said milk and egg. She states “we do not have any egg product” (which is untrue as they have mayonnaise but whatever) and can’t guarantee 100% milk free as they use the same slicer for cheese and meat, but offered to wipe the machine down. I said that would be perfect to which she responded multiple times asking me “how serious the allergy actually is” and if we “really need to clean the machine or if it’s just a minor allergy”. We should have just walked out the door when we started being questioned but we stayed. Once we got to the register I heard her talking with the young man about people with allergies and how they can make things difficult and to just go with what they say. Not only was I made to feel like an inconvenience for making sure my child could safely eat her lunch but it does not matter how severe someone’s allergy is. If there is an allergy all things should be done to help prevent any contamination and people shouldn’t be interrogated. I understand maybe it was an off day, or maybe it wasn’t meant to come off any certain type of way but allergies are serious and if I can’t feel safe offering my child a sandwich because it takes a couple extra steps I...
Read morethis afternoon I ordered 4 sandwiches, my name was called, items were bagged and handed over to me. I paid for all 4 sandwiches and left a tip. When I got home I noticed that my chicken chipotle sandwich was not placed in the bag. When I called to ask about the mistake they insinuated that it was my fault for leaving without the sandwich even though they handed me my bag and told me to have a good day. I told them I would be back in 10 minutes to grab my sandwich and asked if I could have a fresh one made since this is supposed to be a “hot“ sandwich. They acted like this was a huge inconvenience for them and again implied that the “miscommunication” was my fault. Upon arrival, not one employee apologized or even really acknowledged that I was there. When my sandwich was ready, my name was called again, but still no apology and just walked away without saying anything else from whom I assume is the manager of this location. I stated that this was poorly handled on the phone and in store. i also stated that in my 12 years of restaurant experience I would’ve never handled a situation the way they did. At the very least they could’ve apologized for inconveniencing a returning customer. But, then she clapped back with, “I’m not sure what you’re mad about, you just got a free sandwich“. Even tho I paid for it before leaving the first time. When I said, “at the very least you could’ve apologized, the manager said very sarcastically, “I’m sooo soorrry, hope you enjoy your lunch!” The absolute worst customer service I’ve ever...
Read moreToday was our 1st time eating Jersey Mike’s and was looking forward to it as our son raves about the place. We ordered a single giant #9 club. This sandwich includes BACON as one of the key ingredients. My wife and I split this sandwich to share and as we were eating it we both thought something was missing. We continued to eat away and it hit us, they failed to put any bacon on it. My wife went up to the counter to bring that to their attention and she returned back to the table with a single piece of bacon for us to split up. We both laughed it off and then finished the sandwich. Then I went to speak with the manager who was apologetic and offered to make me another sandwich. We were both full and another sandwich would have just gone wasted. She ended up offering me a coupon for a free regular sized sandwich. It really was a...
