We need to get the word about the best Indian food in the St. Louis Metro! Nestled in Ofallon, we got the chance to eat in finally after only devouring through door dash. The atmosphere inside is warm and inviting by the friendly staff. Not sure I saw a single person in the place in the dining area or behind the counter without a smile! We ordered our food and snagged a seat. While waiting we were greeted with an offer to try some Indian tea. First time for that, and it was amazing. It's akin to Turkish coffee but not so strong with a strong aromatic use of cardamom. Just the right amount of sweet to eliminate any bitter. Very good. My wife got her usual, Paneer Butter Masala bringing together the wonderfully sweet curry flavors with a nice cheese that holds a tofu like texture. I got one of my favorites, Chicken Tikka Masala. The chicken is always good perfectly moist for the curry stew that brings so many great flavors together. I got a spicy version and enjoyed getting a little kick in it. Both are served with a heaping serving of basmati rice cooked firm and sticky. Our youngest got the Chicken Katti roll, a nice wrap that brings together a nice spice mix to the turmeric party. It's served with some crispy seasoned fries that we all enjoy. We always get some Malbar Paratha, a beautifully flaky bread with a buttery flavor. Great to dip into your curry stew or just pick at and eat. I also got a mango lasso bottled to drink. Not even certain what flavors hit me but mango is complimented with some spices in a yogurt drink. So good! Hats off to the chefs for the amazing food! Thank you to the staff for being so friendly! Really encourage people to try this place out, we need it to stay! *They also have a ton of ice cream and cakes to serves. Have tried their samosa before and it's amazing with a sweet sauce...
Read moreHad an amazing dining experience at Kwality! The service was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Sree at the register was especially helpful. I interacted with 3 other individuals there who were over the top friendly and helpful.
We started with a hot Chai Tea, perfectly spiced, and the Nuziveedu Mango Lassi, which was very good. The Spicy Podi Dosa had a fantastic crunch with just the right amount of heat. It was also plated awesome (its a giant crispy roll with 3 sauces. The Samosa Chaat was flavorful, with crispy samosas covered in tangy chutneys. The Chapathi was soft and fresh, perfect for pairing with our curries.
For mains, the Chicken Tikka Masala was creamy with a great depth of flavor, while the Chilli Chicken had a bold spice kick. I think the heat level would be a little past a Jalapeno. While personally I would have liked it more spicy, I think they nailed the level for most people. The Goat Combo and Goat Curry were tender and well-seasoned, full of authentic spices. The Chicken Dum Biryani was fragrant, with perfectly cooked rice and juicy chicken. I think the rice was amazingly flavorful.
To top it off, the ice cream was incredible—we had Tiramisu, Guava, Coconut, and Butterscotch in waffle cones and cups. The butterscotch was exceptional!
Highly recommend this place for both the food and the hospitality. Can’t wait to come...
