Found this on a drive around Branson. Pulled in - it was a bit early but we were immediately greeted by a friend of the owner - super friendly & excited to introduce us to everyone & excited to talk a bout the menu fare they have available. So much more than just a “food truck”….and the menu is full of variety & has something for everyone. Everything is authentic Mexican so most of it is spicy - not so hot you can’t eat it & very good. I had my first experience with a fish taco - this one made with a fresh soft shell & Mahi-Mahi…delicious! My other adventure was with their made-from-scratch beef empanada….wow!! This was not spicy at all and offered excellent flavor, texture & not the least bit greasy. My husband ordered a Mahi-Mahi burrito…it was a big burrito - almost as long as the oblong plate it was served on. He, too, was very happy with his lunch choice. Served alongside both our dishes were marinated, spicy (sort of like pickled - but spicy instead of vinegary) vegetables (tiny potatoes, sliced & shredded carrots, broccoli, cauliflower & shredded lettuce. Great for garnishing a fish taco :) !! I cannot say enough about the food, the relaxed & fun atmosphere - yard games for old & young alike. Fun & comfy furniture scattered about & plenty of picnic tables under cover. Two other menu items that are very much worth mentioning are the fresh juice drinks & their churros….drizzled with caramel…one order is easily enough for two people - especially after a meal. You will not leave hungry. We highly recommend visiting when you get the chance…we will definitely go back the next time we...

Half way through the Branson trip we definately have breakfast covered with Billy Gails and Steamy Joes and ironically enough stumbled over the best dinner in town on hwy 265 right down the road from the other two. Weve struggled to find a good evening meal this week, last night we walked out of 3 places before we settled for sub par mexican at Senor Clucks. The Bewery down at the landing was struggling with wait staff, we waited as long as we could. Flaming Margaritas on the strip never waited on us after 15 minutes and the building looked like a Hardee's after the Chernoble incident, the Dockside grill menu looked like it would've been microwaved or frozen anything warmed over. But today we did good! We stopped in the roadside Mahi Mahi Mexican food truck spot up by the resort area on 265. The guy in the truck gave us samples of some of the proteins before ordered, really helped settle on dinner. Wife has a restricted diet but was able to go with the shrimp tacos, which is stewed down with vegetables and a special sauce. I opted for a coupled asada and one Mahi, the tortillas are about 4" grilled flat with melted cheese and the protein added on top, served flat with cilantro and onions and a Verde sauce on the side. Never had tacos like this, the flavors are amazing. Also, mango Margarita was spot on as well. Highly recommend this if you're in the area, heading back tomorrow! 265 is the real...

Sorry excuse for seafood, me and my brother went here for the first time, both of us got the octopus burrito and tostada de pollo, what I cant wrap my head around is how we paid $50+ for the meal and our food wasn't even made for us just ingredients thrown into a Togo container, the octopus burrito was overcooked and rubbery and was basically just coleslaw and chopped octopus yet you wouldn't know that because their menu only has the dish name none of the ingredients, not to mention I asked for Togo container for some hot sauce and then was basically told no when they were right in view because the front desk person barely spoke any english and when i asked them to not open our jarritos because were we taking it togo they proceeded to open them right in front of us, Very long wait as well for food that wasn't even prepared. This is the only time I've ever given a bad review because I don't do that I like business like this to thrive but what these people are doing is actually a disgrace to the food industry and I highly recommend anyone come to the town of Branson think twice before...

I had the pleasure of dining here today after seeing a few ads on Facebook, and I’m happy to say, I was not disappointed. I had been craving birria tacos, so I ordered their quesabirria tacos, chips and guacamole as an appetizer, and churros for dessert. Everything was incredibly flavorful, fresh, and delicious. The tacos were served on crunchy corn tortillas, and the meat was tender and juicy, perfectly paired with the fresh salsas. The guacamole was honestly some of the best I’ve had in a long time. It was topped with fresh diced tomatoes and a crumbly cheese I hadn’t seen used before, and it was amazing. The churros were warm, crisp, and perfectly sweet—just the right way to end the meal. The atmosphere had a cozy cabana vibe, complete with smooth Afro-Latin house/lounge music playing in the background. The gentleman who served me was friendly and took the time to chat, which added a nice personal touch to the experience. I’m definitely looking forward to dining here again!

Branson is really becoming a hub for fantastic food trucks! Tonight I visited the newest addition to town, MAHI MAHI mexican seafood. With an array of delicious-sounding dishes to choose from, I opted for a shrimp empanada and a mahi empanada. One word: WOW! These were hands down the best empanadas I have ever had --packed with tasty fillings and complemented by delicious dipping sauces. Mahi Mahi is conveniently located just down the road from Autumn Creek Branson Inn, just before the 376 intersection. :) [update: we have been several other times, and I have added a few more photos, including of the mahi mahi tacos and shrimp and chicken tostadas. The fresh fruit and other fresh ingredients really set it apart!]
