Slim Chickens — Restaurant in Missouri

Stopped by during a family road trip. We were looking for an easy eat that was not fast food and had stuff for both the kids and parents. Slim Chickens popped up on the map, never heard of it before so decided to give it a try. We were all pleasantly surprised. Chicken was uniform in size, all lightly breaded, soft and juicy. Wings big and juicy, light on sauce (if you like yours a bit dripy, you might need to ask for extra sauce). Fries and fried pickles were crispy. Price was good, service fast and friendly. Chicken is very good when it is fresh definitely gives raising canes a run for their money I honestly don't know which one I like more. Slim chickens definitely has the better fries but chicken pretty close. I also want to compliment the service here the employees are very nice. The guy that usually works up front is extremely nice. The manager there was super professional training new staff during the lunch rush and was still able to manage hope those two employees see this I want to say thank you for being kind when alot of places nowadays at fast food employees aren't so nice anymore. We don't have these in Florida, but if we did, it would be the best chicken place of them all.

The cayenne chicken sandwich is better than anything at Popeyes. The wings are better than Zaxby's. The menu is more diverse and better than chick FilA and raising Cane's combined.

The fries are good. They have a good selection of dipping sauces. The fried pickles and all sides are good. The mason jar desserts are also really good.

The best thing on the menu for me is the buffalo chicken tender Mac and cheese bowl. The best thing is it's consistent every single time you go. Please expand to Florida...
