It sounds like Salts is brand new, just opened recently so they may still be working things out. First off there were no prices on the menu. The waitress did not know all of the prices either. After some asking though they eventually brought us a list with the prices written for the majority of the items. We waited quite a while for our food ~1 hr. They ran out of potatoes so we had to sub out fries for potato skins, which were delicious. I had the chicken on a bun, it was ok, but quite dry. My wife had the twister, and she reported it was good but nothing special. My child had the chicken tenders. They were really good. It's a nice place with a lot of potential. Lots of options on the menu..... as soon as you can figure out how much they cost.

The name is confusing it could be a store that sells seasoning salts, or bath salts so if Bernie reads this consider adding Cafe to the sign. This is a restaurant to bring back Sugar's and it has. Just like Sugar's the food is mediocre and if you don't like country music don't eat here.

There aren’t any good restaraunts in Overton, but this new one is pretty good. The food is tasty and reasonably priced. I enjoyed my chilaquiles for breakfast. Interesting modern Western decor. If you are nearby or coming from Valley of Fire, give this spot a try.

Great local spot in a very cool historic building. The service and the food are wonderful. It's a newer restaurant in town and they have definitely evolved along the way. We used to visit maybe once every couple weeks. But have just started coming more frequently. We've noticed during recent visits they've really found their groove. The overall feel of the place has changed in a very positive way. We really enjoyed today's breakfast. The food was excellent and we were served by the owner, and she was amazing. I think this restaurant is just what Overton needs, and just in time for the snowbirds and all the great Fall and Spring events that bring people into our town! Since Sugars Home Plate sold, there was no place for locals, snowbirds or visitors to eat breakfast in Overton. Car and motorcycle clubs and those OHV visitors too needed a new place to go. We have great places to eat in town, but in Overton, there weren't any serving breakfast. Salts is a great place, and they pay homage to Sugars by adding some items to their menu that were local favorites, like Judy's Hash and the Twister wrap! So, support a great small town local business. If you haven't tried them yet, please do! If you haven't been in in awhile, you owe it to yourself to give them a try again. You won't be...

A Cozy Haven with Delicious Food – 100% Recommended!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at SALT and I must say, it was a delightful experience! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere that immediately made me feel at home.

The ambiance is perfect for a relaxing meal, whether you’re dining alone, with friends, or on a special date. The decor is charming, adding to the overall cozy vibe.

Now, let’s talk about the food – it was absolutely delicious! Each dish was expertly prepared, and the flavors were simply outstanding. I especially enjoyed The salmon which were cooked to perfection.

The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring that my dining experience was as enjoyable as possible.

Overall, I highly recommend Salt for anyone looking for a cozy spot with fantastic food. You won’t be...

We were excited to try Salts...Sadly, We were disappointed. Their daily specials say starting at 3 pm...at 4:30pm we couldn't order any BBQ (Saturday specials) and the couldn't be ordered till 5:30. So instead, we ordered a chef salad, which was a head of lettuce, 2 deli meats sliced up into strips, an egg cut in half a few cucumber and tomato slices and a sprinkle of cheese. Plus, we ordered chicken rice soup. It was a very salty, basic broth with celery, onions, and carrots. With a scoop of rice and a few strips of chicken. They didn't offer anything with it. No rolls, crackers, or bread. The meal was definitely not worth the prices. The server was very inexperienced and wasn't familiar with the menu. We come to town every month for a weekend. We don't think we...
