First off.... Always fantastic service! The food is always fresh and delicious. Whether you're getting a salad, sandwich or something from the grill you will love it. There are so many menu choices! We eat both lunch and dinner at Scoop regularly. When we get dinner from it's always been fabulous! One of our family favorites is the chicken fried steak dinner! Try it, you won't regret it! Spencer's Burger, Club Sandwich, Turkey bacon avocado croissant sandwich, Pastrami on Rye, The Reuben, Philly Cheese and Stuff are some things we get on the regular and they're delicious. Favorite salad, The Veggie Salad with an add-on of Mesquite grilled chicken. If you like shrimp, the shrimp poppers are yummy, especially with their very original and tasty dipping sauce. Want something sweet? The fresh baked brownie is delicious! They're ice cream is the Bluebell brand. If you have ever had that brand, you know how good it is. It's like home churned ice cream. The Inside Scoop is a must visit spot. It's very nostalgic. It's family owned and run, and has a been in our valley a very long time. There is a warm friendly and welcoming atmosphere which is contagious to all who visit. People from out of town and from other countries come in and they feel the openness of the staff and the partons. I've been asked on many occasions by tourists what I was eating (because it looked great) and what I'd recommended. It's nice to be able to dine in a place with such a great atmosphere that brings...

This place is an awesome hole in the wall. I'd go back any time I had an awesome time and the food was great. If you dont have the best teeth avoid the bacon tho it's a little tough. Otherwise awesome they have pretty good ice cream too. Met up with family and had a great chat. Since this review i have revisited this wonderful place many times i love it here me and my girlfriend have made it a thing to do our date time away from our 6 kids to go here and enjoy the food we have our own table now wish it had our names haha maybe ill ask lol. We love this place so much the prices are fair for the food you get and its fun to try out the different stuff on the menu just to see if it matches your view or taste of what a dish should be and decide if it goes into the favorites pile. Keep it up...

Google Lists POSTMATES as if you can order. You can (use the phone) but NOT through Postmates. No restaurant in OVERTON has EVER used that company nor is it associated in any way with the Inside Scoop. Must be a PAID AD. Furthermore - the prices Postmates lists are fictional. Contacting Google to remove this fake link does no good and they refuse to take it off of here. Google also Lists "Quick bites" "Small Plates" etc and says nothing about the LARGE servings and Steak Dinners. No one here has a clue what small bites and small plates is either! The menu link is real and takes you to the actual website Insidescoop.online the Postmates however is some kind of artificial (paid) Google link that has nothing to do with Overton or any Business in Overton and certainly nothing to do with The...

We stopped by after a hot day of hiking and decided to get a late lunch. It was about 2 when we got there, and when we ordered we were told it would take about 30 minutes. We were tired and wanted to sit for a while so said no problem. We got our drinks and waited, and waited, and waited. Food came out after about 45 minutes. (There were several other tables waiting too). Hubby’s hamburger was very good- great flavor- nicely crispy Curley fries. My Ruben sandwich was lean with sauerkraut and a horseradish sauce that was strong, unusual, but good! daughter’s steak and cheese quesadilla was “okay”. Other daughter had a salad with chicken- which she said was good, crisp, and cold (chicken was warm). We got an ice cream to go and enjoyed our lunch at the sweet little shop a lot!

Great small-town café/restaurant in the middle of Overton, Nevada. Fast, friendly service from the staff and plenty of space to sit and enjoy, in our case, ice cream. Have eaten here several times when passing though and we have always enjoyed the food and treats. Nothing fancy here except for a good helping of small-town hospitality and good eating. So if you are ever passing by Overton, take a break and enjoy this cute little café.

Nice little place, decent food and good ice cream! Ordered a buffalo chicken sandwich and was a little unimpressed by it, it looked like a McDonalds filet but buffalo chicken. Despite the looks, it was good. My wife ordered a “hearty” vegetable soup and it appeared to be more liquid than “hearty”. Although that could easily have been due to the employee scooping it. I like small town places, and would give this one another shot👍
