So where to start... This is the first restaurant I have reviewed in my hometown since moving back. My 15 years away has been spent eating at various establishment's, enough to be within the top 10% of Google Reviewers for restaurant's.
I had high hopes for the food here, especially the pizza as it is perhaps my favorite dish.
Let's start with the service. We were quickly greeted and seated. It took the waitress a little bit to get to us, but we took that with a grain of salt. It is a brand new restaurant with new wait staff and an unfamiliar ordering system. We finally got everything ordered.
For myself it was the Pizza Margherita which is in my top 3 favorite styles of pizza. Marinara, melted mozzarella, basil, olive oil and garlic to round it out. They bake it as an 'east coast' style which produces a thin crust similar to wood fired pizza, but unfortunately without the flavor of one. The pizza looked pretty good except the half-melted mozzarella blob on each slice. I was pretty eager to dig in and enjoy! I lifted the first slice and everything slid straight off onto the plate in a puddle of liquid marina and globbed up mozzarella. Once I managed to get some of the toppings back on it was decent. Maybe 4/10 max. The mozzarella was definitely not melted enough as I feared. After biting into the rubberized blob it refused to separate, pulling the entire blob off at once. The first half of the 10" pizza crust held up admirably to the marinara lake, but sadly the second half of it succumbed to the liquid and began turning into mush. Texture is a very big deal for me when eating. This texture was quite off-putting.
Now on to the good. My wife ordered the BLT with the fries. The BLT was good sized and had decent sized tomatoes on it. The bacon was a bit over done but not to the point of turning to dust as you bite it. All in all the BLT was a solid 8/10 for us, with the fries being the star.
Our twins had the kids grilled cheese and it came out hot and properly melted. The bread was toasted enough without being too hard and the cheese was pretty good. We gave this another 8/10.
The waitress tried her best and made sure we were taken care of. She was pretty great!
It is rare for me to eat at the same place more than once unless it was a 5 star experience, but I may revisit this restaurant and review it again in another 4-6 months. Hopefully they have their pizza situation...

Upon entering the entire town was basically in here. No just kidding, but it was packed with patrons wanting to experience the new up and coming restaurant this amazing town has to offer. Cablp pronounced Ca-Blip stands for Chris Angels Breakfast, Lunch, and Pizza.
Was seated and told to scan the QR code for the menu. Drink order was taken. Opted for Arnold Palmers. It is not as hot outside but def needed something to cool down with. The server was wonderful, explaining the menu and answering all of the questions. Ordered the Monster BLT, Mind Freak Burger, Chicken Quesadilla, and French Onion Soup. When we got there they weren't even in soft open phase and some of the items I wanted to entertain were already sold out. Word travels quickly around these parts. Can I say I loved the burger, they surely did not skimp on that bacon. And the Quesadilla was cooked perfectly. The right amount of crisp that I like.
Interior is vintage diner meets new diner. So many visual reads, and an amazing mural on the wall of Mr. Angel and his babies. Everything was very clean despite it not being open yet to the public. However that let me know this is going to be a good venture, as they could have simply turned everyone away, but they didnt. Even the local police were there enjoying a nice hot meal. Staff is very courteous and hospitable.
At some point there will even be times when shows will be hosted in this venue. So def be on the lookout for that as well.
Would def recommend - pricing is typical for Vegas eateries. This particular venture is going to be something that will benefit the community as well. There is going to be an outreach program for underprivileged families for meals, as well as families that are battling the same issues as Mr. Angel currently. Kudos to you Angel family, you are helping...
Read moreAs a long time Criss Angel fan, I was so excited to eat here. It's a really awesome atmosphere, a mix of really cool with the sleek design and all of the awesome memorabilia and photos and warm and hospitable. Everyone was so friendly, from the person who greeted us to our waiter Benjamin who was very patient while we took pictures of everything and asked a million questions. Now the food, we ordered both the phenom fries and the chip fries to start with. Benjamin suggested the chip fries and they were amazing. I've never had anything like them. They came with homemade ranch which was probably the best ranch I've ever had. For our meal, we ordered a bunch of stuff and split it so we could taste everything. We got the BLT, Cobb Salad, Chicken wrap and small margherita pizza. Everything was really good and I would order any of those dishes again but the pizza and chicken wrap were my favorites. The pizza crust was crispy without being burnt, there was the perfect amount of sauce and cheese and not too much oil. I hate biting into a pizza and tasting nothing but oil. The chicken in the wrap was fresh and tender. It also came with Cole slaw which was amazing!! We had to try the MindFreeze as well. We had Strawberry and Lemon. I liked the lemon the best. The Strawberry was sweet so if that's your thing, try that one. I'm not much of a coffee fan but even I could tell that it was a really good blend. We had the Mr. Smiles for dessert which was amazing. It's a warm cookie in a skillet with ice cream on top. In all honesty, I went because I'm a Criss Angel fan but I will be visiting again next time I'm in Las Vegas because the food and service were both great. It was really close to The Valley of Fire so it was a nice little day trip to visit there and then go to...
