Bunny Bread Discount Bakery — Restaurant in Mobile

Stopped in here (Fri 5/2) en-route to a b-day celebratory trip to the Gulf Coast and was sooooooo happy to find just about all the Bunny Bread I wanted. I stumbled across one in Macon, GA a few years ago, but this one, though a tad smaller, was better. Considering I arrived late in the day, I still got all I needed served up w/a smile. Madame Donna rang up my items and was just soo refreshingly pleasant. She was in the back when I came in, but greeted me asap once realizing I'd entered the store to shop. Had the door locked at 524 pm. Refused to allow us to purchase a loaf of bread after driving 16 miles. Then accused us of being rude and yelling at the door. It never happened. I simply stated " all I need is a loaf of bread" I patronized the Bunny Bread Store in Loxley, Al for around 15 yrs and was never treated so rudely. The person who answered the phone claimed to be the manager. I can't imagine anyone in customer service allowing such behavior from their employees. Not to worry, I would rather drive the 30 miles to Loxley where people are respectful, kind and apparently value...

Medium selection of bread products... SOME items were a real deal bargain...other items cheaper at Dollar general and Dollar tree.. and a few items were the exact same price as you would pay at Greer's..clean nice and cool.. friendly cashier.
