First time eating here, I walked in about 20 mins to closing and the register lady patiently waited for me to order.

I ended up trying a shrimp egg foo yung (however it’s spelled lol) and I wasn’t really expecting that much to be completely honest…

But when I opened that container and dug my fork into the dish and the sauce they put in it… OMG WOWZERs that’s what forced me to leave a review!

I felt like I was eating someone’s grandma Chinese recipe. I seriously thought he(the cook that night) put an ancient Chinese secret in my damn food cause it is soo good, and even better on the next day! They even put it in microwave safe containers cause they must know that it taste even better the next day which is the day I’m enjoying it for lunch writing this review.

I ordered through DoorDash, from the China Chef Springhill Ave store, and when the driver got there, my food was already in the bag, and they left out part of my order, ribs and sauces I specifically requested, and now they will not answer the phone. I know it’s because the girl recognizes my phone number. You would think the manager would come back on the phone, but he must be an afraid.

This is bad service. Good food if you can get them to fix it right, but someone who doesn’t answer their phone is just scared to own up to their mistakes. Can anyone get anything right anymore? What happened to quality service and taking care of your customers? The workers don’t deserve more than minimum wage. I will never order...

Food is at best edible. $70 and nothing even remotely good. Wonton soup, bland broth with nothing in it, Wontons had maybe 1/2 teaspoon filling. Same with fried Wontons, most had nothing it it except raw grease covered dough. Everything saturated in grease that even the wrappers couldn't soak it all up. All is all, complete waste. Only saving grace was the pork and black bean was delicious. Definitely will not come back. This is the kind of place that survives on one time purchases like me, or people who just don't care because it's close, open...
