Spoke with Marcus the manager this afternoon, concerning the girl at the drive-through. This girl takes my debit card then rings up the order and proceeds to keep my card. She grabs the bag, and turns around to say āwhatās this yāall ā, and leaves the window. At that point she has thrown off my train of thought. When she returns to the window she hands me the bag. (No debit card).I asked for tarter sauce, she says itās in the bag. I then ask for napkins. By this time I checked and no tarter sauce. I asked for tarter sauce and she stompās away to get it. So why was my card and receipt out of her hands? Ole Mr. Marcus manager defended her every bad act. I guess nothing else could be expected nowadays. Luckily I drove next door to The Dollar Tree, and Ole Mr. Marcus manager brought me my card. So they had full access to my card for 10 minutes or so. Mr. Marcus hung up in my face when I tried to explain what happened. He says I left my card. This is a true statement, BUT IT IS POPEYES RESPONSIBILITY TO INSURE THAT THE CUSTOMER GETS THEIR METHOD OF PAYMENT BACK, AND THEIR CHANGE. THERE WAS NO REASON FOR HER TO PUT MY CARD DOWN. SHE CAME TO THE WINDOW 3 DIFFERENT TIMES. This is Popeyes on Springhill Ave in Mobile Alabama. IF THESE PEOPLE DONāT WANT TO WORK, THEY SHOULDNāT TAKE THE JOB. *There was a time when managers, and workerās took pride in their jobs....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreJust moved here and I was expecting this experience to be very nice and I was terribly disappointed. The place was staffed but it was like people were doing their own thing. It didn't seem like there was a manager or supervisor on duty to make sure things were done seamlessly. The line in the drive thru was crazy and the line inside was even worse. It took almost a half hour to 45 mins to actually get my food! And I see myself as a patient person, a give them a chance person but unless some real manager get up on there and run it like a well oiled engine then I might have to find a different one even if it isn't as conviently placed. I mean workers talking and chatting with friends coming in, I don't mind like hey girl good to see you but still working.. no they stopped working to hold like 5 to 10 min conversation while the line grew. This other girl was having a heated conversation with another worker clearly upset about something and getting louder. I FINALLY had my food so we was swiftly walking out the door while hearing the debate get louder and other workers telling her to chill out. Not professional at all. The food was OK. Maybe after all that the bad taste was still in my mouth. Then it was garbage cans all out and everything maybe it was getting close to close and people was ready to go but it was a last rush of customers...yea maybe...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had an altercation with the female manager here at this location.I ordered my usual 2 peice daily special.Yhis special is 2peice dark w one side for 6.99 I get it most everyday , just at a diffrent location..She kept asking what 2 sides I wanted ,and I told her I thought that it only came with one side.She RUDELY said to me that I was the customer and she was the worker and I didnt need to presume I knew her job.That is what she told me rudely I just politely told her she did not need my business and I went to harts chicken next door.I got great service there and will continue t9 go there from now on .Popeyes lost a daily customer bc of here and there bad service.I worked in retail for quite a while when I was in my 20s.8f id have ever thought of treating a customer this way I would have been terminated on the spot.When your a retailer , the customer is allways right.I dont have to spend my money at popeyes .That is my decision and its to be earned not expected.Popeyes has lost my busness because of this one Mad at the world woman, that seeks to make ot I ers as misrable as she is.Until shes gone I wont go back.Buisness is...
