My husband and I decided to try Lost pizza on Sunday December 5th around 5:00. We ordered 6 wings - general tso style, 3 tamales and a small El Diablo pizza. The appetizers came out quickly and although small, they were delicious. We waited around 30 minutes before I realized every table around us (that had been sat much later than us) were getting pizzas. A girl cleaning off one of the tables by us noticed we still didn't have our pizza so she went inside and informed the young man at the counter. He quickly came out and let us know the machine had gone down but they were working on our pizza and it would be out shortly. After another 20 minutes went by and noticing more people getting more pizza and us still waiting I was beyond frustrated. I went inside to request a refund to the girl at the counter. She quickly went to the back and spoke to someone on the line POINTING TO OUR PIZZA TICKET THAT WAS STILL HANGING UP. Stephanie came out, apologized and said they thought they were caught up but would refund us for the inconvenience. The machine wasn't working but she took my number and said she would be in touch. Around 8:30 I received a call and text with a picture of a successful void of the ticket. On Wednesday the transaction had not only cleared the bank but there was no refund to follow. I text Stephanie back at the original number and she said she would contact the company they work with processing credit cards and let me know. Here we are on Saturday with no further communication and still no refund. I am very understanding as I've worked in the restaurant business but it is beyond frustrating to not only be forgotten about not once but twice. I have now made a claim with our bank in hopes of getting this resolved. I'm sure I'm nothing to this business but unfortunately we will not be back as our first experience was...
Read moreI’ve tried Lost pizza on three occasions. Two were to go orders and one dine in. I’ve gotten the Pit Boss on all three occasions. The first time it was phenomenal with the garlic butter. The second time (to go) I was given a cheese pizza drizzled with BBQ sauce, no other toppings. It was a to go so I had no choice but to accept it as I couldn’t leave work. We dined at the restaurant this afternoon. We elected to eat outside. There were maybe three tables occupied inside. So it was a slow night.
You order at the bar & pay there at that time. You’re given cups and plates at that time and you seat yourself, as well as fix your drinks. This was a bit cumbersome as I was alone with two kids & trying to hold all the things. The outdoor area has three tables. Only one had paper towels. The outdoor tables weren’t really taken care of after guests left. All of them had food residue from previous guests.
Our food came out very quick. Everything was delicious. I know pizza isn’t eaten with utensils but it would have been nice to have to them as the pizzas were super hot and I would have liked to cut my kids so it could cool faster. I’m not sure what type of service there is supposed to do be, but we received none beyond our food being delivered. I would have loved for someone to check in so that I could ask for paper towels & utensils. I could have gotten up to ask, for sure, but taking two small kids back inside and leaving our table unattended wasn’t worth it. I’m not sure who you tip when you pay if there is to be no waiter/waitress beyond who takes your order at the counter & drops off your food.
I do like paying at the counter so you aren’t delayed in leaving. Again, the food has been great, aside from the one mishap on a to go order. It is a bit more expensive than the usual pizza place. I love the decor...
Read moreThe first time I dined with this establishment the food and service was great. The second time food was good but the cashier’s service wasn’t. The third time pizza was burnt so much until I couldn’t chew the crust , although I tried to eat it I had to spit the crust into a paper towel. It was so burnt until the toppings wouldn’t pull away from the crust. I started to turn around to get it remade but it was almost close and I didn’t want to do them like that. I did call when I got home for a replacement. The mgr was polite (at the time). She didn’t ask me to bring the food back but I inquired did she want me to bring it back. She said not necessary but would be great if I did. I said no problem. A couple days past I was finally off from work and went back for my replacement. I called in so I wouldn’t have to wait on my order. The mgr(same person) asked did I have the food I said yes. She said bring the food and we’ll go from there, as if I were lying or something. I brought the remaining portion of the burnt pizza, which you could clearly see it was burnt all the way through the crust. She opens the box and says, so you’ve eaten the pizza and want us to replace it?! I responded with letting her know I tried to eat it but it was too burnt. If it would’ve been good pizza I would’ve eaten it all. She said I’ll replace it THIS TIME, at that point I cut her off to let her know I’ll pay for it, no problem, since she made it seem like I wanted something for nothing. Order came up, pizza burnt again. I got my refund and left. I am a Big Foodie, but I will never go back there again. The little acting mgr. needs to work on her people skills tremendously and get rid of the rude attitude! You would think I was on trial about a pizza...
