Got there at 6:04, pulled ticket number 60, they were serving ticket number 28. My number finally gets called at 6:36. I order $ 50 worth of snow crab legs only to be told by the fat black chick wearing yoga pants (thought those pants were for fit chicks who are going to work out in them) that they stop steaming at 6:30. I ask for an exception seeing as though I was there well before 6:30 and it's not like it's 6:55 and yall close in 5 minutes, its 6 mins past 6:30. The bad built chick goes and ask the man looking lady if an exception could be made, was told NO. Keep in mind the sloppy black chick was smirking the whole time and she had the nerve to have an attitude about the fact that I was annoyed by the fact that they wouldn't steam the crabs. After the people behind me heard they wouldn't steam my crabs even though they too was there before 6:30, they walked out. Mudbugs owner if you read this, my tip would be to stop the steamer count at the last pulled ticket number at 6:30 versus refusing to steam orders of customers who where not only there before 6:30 but waited in line...
Read moreCalled to reserve a sack to pick up day before Easter at 11:00. Live an hour away. Got delayed so I knew that I wouldn’t be there at 11. I called at 10:00 to give a heads up, and good thing I did. Lady on the phone said she didn’t see my order. I asked if they still had some Live available, she put me on hold and came back and said yes. I asked if one could be reserved for me and set aside since my order that I called in the day before apparently got misplaced (I get it, mistakes happen). However she said she couldn’t do that because it’s first come, first serve. This kind of caught me off guard. So I could reserve yesterday, you lose my order, have crawfish available, but can’t set that aside? 🤔 she said no, and they were too busy at the moment to do that….i ended the phone call at that moment….luckily we found another vendor that was able to provide crawfish. The whole situation was handled poorly. Again, I get mistakes happen, but the response to that mistake...
Read moreAs a fellow business owner, I take reviews very seriously; and have to give a lot of thought when I decide to leave a review of poor service. The system in place for ordering food is NOT working. When people have to take a ticket, and then wait a hour...yes I checked my watch just to order food.....and watch literally dozens of people come in, who don't get a ticket; go right up to the counter, order their food and get their order in 15 minutes, your system is broken. Other people walked out , who arrived after me, tired of waiting, just to place their order. I after 1 hr 25 minutes finally got most of my order, but decided to leave without the rest of my order that I paid for. That in itself should be a wake up call to the system your business has in place. I was not very pleased with the way an employee tried to fix the issue either. Employees should not be combative.
