After growing up in New England I keep trying to tell myself that a Dunkin cannot be this consistently awful so I try and go back again and again, but this failure of an establishment continues to lower the bar for me.
Not only does it take them 40 minutes to make a sandwich (not exaggerating), but that is the norm as it has happened the past 5 times my wife and I have ordered. To the point we order 30 minutes early online, show up, and then watch a single employee lollygag their way through heating bagels so we stand there 40 minutes after placing our order.
Not to mention how there is an extreme lack of workers during any part of the day leading to 20+ minute drive-thru waits. Only for us to walk inside and watch 1 employee handle donuts, 1 handle drinks, and the other all of the drive thru orders by themself...and then once their task is complete they stand by and watch their working coworkers try to finish their tasks without helping to speed things up. The lack of management is more than apparent, as it seems like no manager is around at all to help, let alone schedule or train enough employees to handle the normal workload.
After spending years in Massachusetts Dunkin's, where the second a store is open there is no slow down, yet the store has no customer waiting for more than 5 minutes proves this store needs an overhaul.
Do something to fix this, I'm tired of waiting on the employees to finish their conversation with their coworker about last night's party before I can pay and get my order.
I have never left a negative review before, but this small sample size of complaints is only the surface of the problems I have experienced with this store in the past 6 months, with many other people collaborating...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI tried to give this place a try, but it's just horrible. The girls are rude. They'd rather continue their personal conversations while giggling than serve and talk to you at the drive thru. They just take payment and hand it to you, pretending they're busy.
I've been a Starbucks diehard for many many years but their food choices leave much to be desired. So started going here on a whim and discovered they have Avocado Toast. It's my favorite thing ever. I know it's just spread on toast but it's still amazing. Especially since it's on sourdough. They used to have a drink similar to SBs, the Brown Sugar Iced Latte. Delicious! Now it's gone. The donuts are amazing except when they're out of the basic donuts first thing in the morning. I order ahead and pick up in store. I bought a Dunkin thermal mug at the Redwood City store, and they refuse to fill it with coffee. I fell in love with it, and can't use it. So, I quit going. The store is clean but the ambiance feels unfriendly/disconnected; no one gives you eye contact or welcomes you in. They see you and no one says hi, just a person waiting to take your order quick so they can continue chit chatting and texting. ...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe started visiting this establishment for 3 months now, and every morning, we order our usual Turkey Sausage Croissants ! Dunkin Doughnuts always runs out of Croissants.!! Every single morning, it's the same response from the employees. We only bake 6 racks of Croissants! I asked why.not bake.more to keep your customers coming back. Their answer each time, "we dont want to have to throw extra Croissants away when we make too much and dont sell them. Instead, they'd rather lose custmomers. Every other place within walking distance never runs out of Croissants. It's time to stop having breakfast at Dunkin Doughnuts and go over to Jack in the Box, McDonalds, Burger King, or any other place that cares about their customers more than having to bake extra Croissants. Dunkin doughnuts need to change their policy and rehire new managers who care about custmers and want to keep their regulars. Too bad. We would keep coming 5 days a week, but not anymore since they refuse to make extra Croissants. They never got our substitution correct anyway. Order is always wrong. Someone there is dyslexic. I asked them to write the order down, and they still get it...
