Happy Dragon | Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Modesto

I ordered a delivery of five items. They told me it would be an hour wait and it was. The guy who delivered the food was kind and I even left a tip. I started eatting and realized that my chowmain was missing so I called them to let them know.

This Is the part that upset me... I'm a Starbucks store manager and I couldn't imagine how upset I would be if one of my team members were to act this way toward a customer....

When I informed her that it was missing she said she didn't think so and I listed the items that I ordered and the ones I recieved. She laughed at me and said "I can't believe this, you're my last customer, it's only a few dollars you know." I told her I would even be willing to drive and pick it up even though that was kind of the point of delivery... she continued to laugh and said "I can't believe this, it's only a few dollars. It's so funny" she rpeted herself a few times and continued to say who knows what to the people in the background and told me I could buy another one and come down there myself.

So I packed up my order and went to the restraunt to show her... They finally made it right and gave me pork chowmain insted of the house chow main I paid for but at this point it doesn't even really matter. It was beyond...

The service was a bit slow but that’s totally to be expected all with in a matter of ten min two separate tables came in two older ladies with orders to go(that were quite RUDE I might add, giving the poor girl a very tough time) and four door dashers two with large orders all came In at once... you could tell the girl was a bit overwhelmed even the door dashers were making comments, but she held her composure and got everybody their orders even in those overwhelming circumstances... I know they are a restaurant and that’s to be expected but on a Monday it’s hard to find Chinese restaurants open so I thought she handled everyone very well, even with rude comments being thrown at her. My son and I loved our food and it came out hot and good proportions. We definitely will...

I love small family business they are really nice and work really hard. Those that write horrible things obviously want perfection and if that's the case go to a corporation and don't put down actual human beings who put their heart into it. My husband and I love this place and come here often. My son left his jacket and we didn't go back for a few weeks. I showed up on my lunch from work with a Co worker and immediately the lady went to the back to return my son's jacket. I was really picky about how I want the hot and sour soup and she changed it for me. They really love their customers and go the extra mile to have happy customers.
