Happy Joe's Pizza - Moline 16th St. — Restaurant in Moline

This location is absolutely horrible. The manager is a nut case. I ordered a pizza online to be delivered and requested that jalapenos be added to one side. Someone..somewhere, decided this meant ONLY jalapenos on that side. I also paid an extra fifty cents for nacho cheese and did not get it. I called, because I had an office full of hungry people who didn't want to eat just a jalapeno pizza.

I have worked service jobs, I know mistakes can happen. So I was very pleasant on the call and just requested they fix the mistake. I was offered 10% off my next order. Uhm, we're all hungry, that does not solve it. So I requested again that they fix the mistake, today and bring us the proper pizza. I was brought baggies full of the ingredients that are meant to go on the pizza and the manager went ballistic on me for asking that they fix it today. Keep in mind, I said, "today" not, right this second again, I get mistakes happen and work can be busy but he screamed at the security staff when it took me over a minute to get out of my building and he screamed in my face when I said that I'd paid the fifty cents extra for the nacho cheese. He told me it was included (but I had the receipt that showed an extra charge..) I'm not upset about the charge, I'm upset that I was accused of being a liar and yelled at for not getting what I paid for.

The whole incident was incredibly bizarre and I will not be ordering from this location any longer. I love Happy Joe's as a treat every now and then but will avoid this location...

Que the trumpets and time to loosen my belt! Lets be honest, this is the home of the one, the only, the often imitated, never truly duplicated, taco pizza. Happy Joes is a QC staple that is worth an hours drive to get to.

I have eaten at this location on and off since 1996! And no matter what, it consistently performs up to standards. This may be a franchise, but its one small enough where its not nationwide, or lost its sole. The owner of this one and a few others , Mr. Henning, has kept the place up to standards, which keeps me coming back to this location after 20 years whenever I am in town.

The dining area is compact, but always clean and clear, and ready to eat in. There isn't a lot in the front area to distract you from eating your food and getting on your way. Which is nice if you didn't schlep the kids with you. Bathrooms are consistently clean as well. Kitchen area always appears clean and organized whenever I reach he counter.

The food as always is piping hot, and prepared to order. I have never had a bad order from this location in 20 years. They always maintain the same high standards, which is something I like about the company as a whole. Overall, I am breaking my normal rules about chains and giving this...

We placed an order at the Moline IL location at 1:15pm its now over an hour and a half from the time we ordered and still no pizzas. We called the location and they said somehow there was a glitch in the system and it shows we were supposed to pick up the order so I read off the email confirmation stating right in my email confirmation that it showed delivery and it should have been here long ago so they apologized and offered to take 25% off the entire bill. I even left a tip for the driver so how the order did not show on their end it was a delivery is upsetting. I have people here and none of us have eaten all day and now we have to wait over another hour for them to remake our order when it should have been here over 45 min ago....
