I’ll start this off by saying that I was really hungry. You know it’s bad when you don’t really like the food, and you’re hungry. This was just a bad experience. First time here & I figured with it being around lunch time everything on the buffet would be fresh & tasty. I was wrong. The fried rice & shrimp were about the best thing I could find that I was even able to slightly enjoy. I don’t mind paying for it but not when the chicken has too much breading and I can’t even chew it because it’s so hard. The crab is imitation. They could’ve left that off the buffet and saved themselves some money. That was not good at all! The veggie rolls were okay at best but some eggs rolls would’ve been nice. The crab Rangoons weren’t good. The beef was tough & dry. I could go on but I think you’re starting to see the trend here. It wasn’t horrible but nothing here was impressive. I wouldn’t recommend this place for the buffet. Maybe if you place a Togo order it might be better? I don’t know, but the buffet was a miserable failure. Nothing was good at all! Not even close. This place needs to simplify &/or downsize the buffet and focus on making higher quality food. Less good food is better than more bad food. Oh, and the water filters need to be replaced. The water tastes like a fish tank. I don’t even think I’ll give this place a second chance. All that being said, the...
Read moreHighly recommend! The food is great & offers many choices including several entree items for those that prefer an American selection. Always clean & fresh, which is a priceless commodity at any Asian buffet in this area. Service is quick, attentive & very friendly. The ice cream freezer & scooper is the only area I see a real need for improvement (the same is true for all restaurants/buffets that have a "help yourself" dessert bar) & that's the deep-freezer housing the tubs of ice cream should be sanitized more often during the busier rushes as lots of unwashed hands are sliding the doors open & closed. The scooper is kept in a container of warm water where, once again, many unwashed hands are using the same scoop & returning it to the...
Read moreIt was a regular buffet in a small town. A few good flavor finds here and there. I liked the chicken skewers, maybe my best item of the night. Egg drop soup was lackluster, sweet &sour chicken was passable. General Taso chicken was pretty good. Egg rolls and rangoons we're also winners for me.
A warning for people who may not be familiar with this location: Parking: limited during busy hours, you will be competing with big pickups and service trucks, consider parking a block to the northeast at the city park.
Summation: the food has high and mediocre points, during meal hours they do keep items turned over on the line, and they have never let me empty my tea glass. I will go back when I'm working in...
