Brian's Place — Restaurant in Monee

Young blonde Sunday shift ends at 3 waitress is so bored to be working there and simply can't be bothered. Our food came wrong and said we would need to talk to Sam about that, not bothering to mention who Sam was or where he/she is. Told us she was leaving at 3 so we had to decide if we wanted anything else (a group of us) because she had to cash out. I guess that ends our table service for the day. I guess you should check wait staff shift times so you come in plenty of time to get everything you want ordered. Prices are ridiculously high for "bar food" ($14 for a panini!). The "regulars" sitting at the bar stare you down or make lewd comments when you walk in back to use the gross and outdated restroom. They all make you feel uneasy and uncomfortable. Cute place, extensive menu but bad vibe from patrons and wait staff and ridiculous prices. Bartender was friendly and seemed apologetic towards the way we were being treated. New to Monee, so we stopped in for dinner. I had the meatloaf and it was disgusting. The 2 TINY slices of meat loaf were both cold & over cooked, burnt edges, the little bit of gravy was covered with a skin probably from sitting way too long. The small portion of mashed potato's were just slapped on there with a tiny portion of gravy. The chicken soup was fine. Extremely nice young girl was our server. Checked on us often, took the empty's away quickly. Will not be back, we should have went to KFC or Culvers. The bathroom was beyond despicable condition, and as a tall guy, the short ceiling in the dinning area is uncomfortable. I admit the parking lot is usually busy when we drive by, and the bar was packed that night, so I'm guessing the locals like to drink there?? Came in with a group of about 15. They were informed the night before. They did not have a table set up for a group that size. The servers were very friendly, and knew their product. The kitchen was slow, and perhaps, disorganized. The last guy to show up, who got there after the rest had ordered, got his food first. Everyone eventually got what thy ordered, but there was confusion from the servers on who ordered what. When I got my biscuits and gravy, topped with scrambled eggs and two sausage patties, the only part that was hot was the sausages. The taste of the gravy was ok, but being cold didn't help it.
