Terrell's Eat The Bone BBQ, LLC — Restaurant in Monee

My husband and started coming here a couple of months ago and our first 3 visits were great! Then the last 3 times we went something was definitely amis! We both get the tips dinner and the formerly awesome meal wasnt awesome anymore! The tips were so gristly you could sparsly get a bite of meat and the meat on top was nice and hot but the meat underneath was cold and i mean refrigerater cold. The very few fries we had were half old and half fresh!!! The first time it was like this i thought it was just a fluke but i did have a bit of a stomach problem afterwards. The second time it happened (half fresh and half old or cold) i told my husband that its going to be awhile till we come here again. A few weeks went by and then yesterday we tried again and this time it was the worst, more than half the meat was cold and there were only a few fresh fries and the rest were so old that you couldn't chew them and i spent the rest of the evening throwing up! Black owned! Fresh and absolutely delicious! Located right in Monee, IL. You can smell the bomb BBQ aroma miles before spotting them! Yes, there are a couple BBQ spots around but let’s not get them confused with the others! Smoked juicy aroma is what makes them stand out from the crowd. And you can see and smell the meat smmmmoking as you pull in to park. I just knew my food was going to be off the chain! Mrs Carrol and Mr Terrell are the owners. His wife and him were some genuine kind souls! Carrol takes the orders which she is first point of contact, and Terrell whips it up with love and deliciousness! Hahah! The place has Plentiful seating rather a small or large crowd. Plenty of space too. Very clean and comfortable is the atmosphere I’ve observed visiting a couple times. Bathroom are top notched clean. I ordered the rib tip lunch special along with a large rib tip dinner. And delicious was an understatement. The food was freaking to die for! Just as tender and flavorful as it smells as I pulled in. YES, YOU WILL EAT THE BONE!...

Finally got around to trying Eat The Bone.. Ordered takeout on a Wed, not thinking things through. The food was pretty much inedible. Ribs and Tips totally dried out, couldnt even chew up the tips, this is no exaggeration half of the rib meat couldnt be removed from the bone. Spent $75 and couldnt even get fresh fries. There were two bright spots thank goodness. The brisket taco was delicious and the girl that took my order was helpful and friendly. The meats did have good smoke flavor. The woman sitting behind the counter was not at all friendly and muttered while another woman and I were waiting for our food which were both phoned in..."well y'all both ordered brisket at the same time...." Nobody had even made a comment about the wait.... I guarantee that the food that was served to us was leftover and had been rewarmed more than once since this is their first service day of the week.
