Applebee's Grill + Bar — Restaurant in Monroe Township

So we ordered Applebee's post-pandemic probably around April... it was the most remarkable experience we have had at this Applebee's restaurant. Food was 💯% best I ever had!!! Tonight we ordered a couple meals and a kids meal and the mashed potatoes tasted like batter. It was weird because the mashed potatoes look freshly made usually when we get them and they tasted sweet like a batter. Obviously not what you expect from garlic mashed potatoes and I had someone else try my meal so it wasn't just me, I don't know what was up with the mashed potatoes maybe they're bad potatoes you might want to check that. But it wasn't just the potatoes it was my steak as well, I got a shrimp and Parmesan topper that looked like somebody threw blue cheese on top because it was all chunky looking.and listen as long as it tastes good I don't care what it looks like but it didn't taste good. I run a restaurant to so I don't usually like when people complain but paying money in a pandemic to eat out and it just wasn't very good. I still have the food because I just can't eat it.

So I tried it again! Late night. Called the restaurant and got a VERY friendly woman! Asked for an extra side of slaw and less chicken and to my disappointment.. they actually put the chicken on my tacos which isn't the to go way of doing it and gave less slaw then ever. Everything was soggy and I really had faith they would do it right.she was so nice on the phone!. Follow up is everything in a business. Need way better management in this store. Its terrible. Won't hear of an Applebee's in 3 years. I will put money on it. Its fast food quality at best and we spend too much...

The restaurant itself is beautiful and has more TV's then Best Buy. It is also very clean. I have a very sensitive nose and there was no dirty dish rag smell present. The servers were all very nice and accommodating. I ordered a combo Ribs and Chicken with broccoli and mash potatoes. The best thing on the plate unfortunately were the mash potatoes which were awesome. The ribs that I was really looking forward to were Decent but the texture was as if they were sitting under a heat lamp for over an hour. The broccoli was so overcooked you can barely pick it up with your fork without it falling off and the chicken… the chicken had a very weird texture and no flavor at all. I only took one bite and that was it for the chicken and for anyone that knows me I am the least picky eater alive. This was my 2nd time at this applebee's location. The 1st time I had a Burger in fries and it was very good. When I ask what the server would recommend I was also steered towards the burgers...So, it looks like if I make it there again it will be a burger and fries only and a tall glass of...

0 stars if I could. we use to come to this one here and there but they went down hill. we place online order at 630 ish-says it’ll be ready at 730. we get there, food isn’t done yet, so we wait …. and wait… and wait some more… its now been an hour or so and still nothing. we call the store and ask for the manager and they say they are waiting on one last thing to be made… took a few more minutes, we get offered a discount also. food comes out all cold and the only thing slightly warm is the appetizer. so we call back , make them take all the food back because at this point we are done with it all. not for nothing you would think they would be packed on thanksgiving eve but there was barely anyone inside, so what could have taken over an hour for 4 things and two drinks? we’re very understanding people but next time just say hey we screwed up and this is what we are waiting on , do you want it anymore? I would’ve told you no it’s fine take it off and we’ll take the rest. this isn’t the first time we had bad service at this location, but we won’t...
