Food is good, but bearded man was very rude, not professional, We had a hair inside of Cheeseburger, when we returned it, he did not even apologize, instead was very rude and acting unorofessional. I hope that man changes his attitude and becomes more professional with his clients of he wants his business to get more clients.
Updated review: The food here is generally very good, and we’ve been loyal customers for quite some time—frequently driving from another county, bringing friends, recommending your food and each time spending close to $100 per visit. We’ve always appreciated the quality of the food and the staff’s hospitality—until our most recent visit.
During that visit, one of the cheeseburgers we ordered had a hair inside. A woman from our group—who is a long-time customer—politely brought it to the attention of the man behind the counter and requested to switch it for chicken wings, offering to pay the price difference. What happened next was unacceptable: he yelled at her, refused the request, and gave her another cheeseburger without an apology or acknowledgment.
This was not about the food—it was about how she was treated.
We were a group of five people, and as you stated, your security cameras can confirm this. Each of us has every right to leave a review based on our personal experience. It is unfair and inappropriate to accuse people of defamation or to claim that our reviews are “fake.”
Let’s be clear: • The issue is not the hair in the food—mistakes happen. • The issue is that a woman was screamed at by someone representing your business for calmly returning a food item. • That woman is someone’s mother, someone’s daughter, and someone’s wife. No one deserves to be yelled at in public, especially not for expressing a valid concern about their meal.
We have always supported your business and recommended it to others. We tipped generously and returned often. Yet on this day, we were disrespected, and a woman was humiliated for simply speaking up.
To clarify further: Our order included 7 cheeseburgers, chicken wings, French fries, and 5 sodas. We sat in your backyard area to enjoy the meal when the issue occurred. She politely offered to pay extra to switch to wings, Instead of a basic level of courtesy, she was yelled at. Yes, we took the remaining food because we had paid for it and checked the rest carefully. You later posted a response admitting that you yelled at her (please see the attached Screenshot from your response where you admit yelling at her in public) and sarcastically suggesting we go to McDonald’s next time—this kind of response shows no accountability or professionalism. I dont think who visits McDonalds are bad people, all of them Are very RESPECTED peope, and we actually do visit them sometimes too, and their amoloyees are very professional, they do not scream at WOMAN!!!!!!! We never reported you to Sanitation or any other agency, though your handling of this situation could have justified it. Our intention is NOT to bring your business down, but to raise awareness and call for better treatment of customers.
We don’t want your business to fail. On the contrary, we hope you grow and succeed. But success in the restaurant industry comes from treating EVERY customer with respect, especially those who have supported you for years.
You still have the opportunity to take accountability, apologize for your actions, and ensure such treatment does not happen again, and that you will not DISCRIMINATE Women—especially not toward PREGNANT WOMAN !!! That would go a long way in restoring trust and demonstrating true...
Read moreIf you're ever cruising through Monroe, NJ, and your stomach starts growling for some serious BBQ, then look no further than Bearded One BBQ—a place where your taste buds are in for a wild, mouthwatering ride!
It was the first beautiful day of the year, and my partner and I were working on the ambulance, and we decided there was no better way to kick off the sunshine than with some seriously good barbecue. Enter Bearded One BBQ—a gem that totally delivered in every way possible!
We went for the full rack of ribs and a container of brisket and let me tell you—this was the kind of decision that made the whole day worth it. The ribs were a masterpiece! Fall-off-the-bone perfection. Seriously, the meat was so tender that it practically slid right off the bone with just the slightest nudge. The smoky flavor had that perfect balance of sweet and savory and every bite had me asking, "How can something so simple taste this amazing?"
And then, the brisket—oh my goodness! It was juicy, and I mean JUICY. It was like biting into a flavorful, melt-in-your-mouth cloud of beef heaven. The brisket was so tender it practically dissolved in your mouth, and the smoke ring around it. Perfect. I couldn’t stop going back for more with every bite.
The best part? The flavor. The seasonings were on point, that smoky goodness lingering in your mouth long after you’ve finished. And the portions were generous—so much so that we were both fully stuffed but already dreaming about coming back the next day. If you're into BBQ that makes you want to savor each bite, then Bearded One BBQ is a must.
From start to finish, Bearded One BBQ gave us the kind of meal that sticks with you long after the plates are empty. Whether you're a BBQ aficionado or just craving some juicy, tender, flavorful meat, this place will leave you coming back for more. If you haven’t been yet, do yourself a favor—get there ASAP! You won’t...
Read moreI typically don't leave reviews but I do think it's important to point out the good and the bad of this place. My first time coming here was fantastic. The brisket grilled cheese was awesome. The fries were awesome - well seasoned, not too crunchy, not too flat. It was so good I recommended buying food for some friends who were around last Friday.
Picked up the food and, long story short, the brisket chili had some hard burnt ends. The fries were burned, hard, and the seasoning was clearly over-caramelized and torched from too much heat. What's more: we paid (a lot!) extra for pulled pork on them, and there was barely any pulled pork there. Dunno if you folks have ever cooked a pork butt before, but there is a LOT of meat that results from a single butt cook. I was honestly embarrassed by the state of the fries, especially considering they were so expensive. The brisket grilled cheese, again, was pretty decent, but I felt so bad for other people in my party who ordered the other stuff.
Maybe we ordered the wrong stuff, or maybe it was a bad day for them. Maybe we'll go back? Would honestly rather fire up the smoker or kamado, which is annoying because bbq takes so long but it...
