Syndicate Film School is truly in a league of its own. What makes it stand out isnât just the high-quality curriculum, the professional-level facilities, or the incredible opportunitiesâitâs the leadership behind it. Co-owner and co-founder Vinny Arizzo is one of the most hardworking, passionate, and genuinely kind people in the film industry today.
Vinnyâs track record speaks volumes. He was the Director of Photography for a major commercial advertising the television show Stranger Thingsâa show that set the gold standard for modern television cinematographyâand he has collaborated with powerhouse brands like Intuit, Make-A-Wish, and countless others. These are not just rĂ©sumĂ© lines; theyâre proof of his ability to create world-class work at the highest level.
But whatâs even more impressive is what heâs built for others. Vinny designed a curriculum by filmmakers, for filmmakers, tailored specifically to help beginners gain the kind of real-world skills you wonât find in a textbook. With two thriving locations in Monroe and Belmar and a full production company behind it, Syndicate Film School gives students direct access to the tools, knowledge, and connections that can actually launch careers.
Vinny isnât just a name attached to the schoolâheâs present, involved, and committed to mentoring the next generation of creators. His work ethic is unmatched, and his kindness and authenticity make him someone you immediately want to learn from. Itâs rare to find someone with such a strong mix of industry credibility and genuine heart, but Vinny embodies both.
If youâre serious about film, if you want to learn directly from professionals who are actively working at the highest levels, and if you want to be part of a community that pushes you to succeed, thereâs no better place than Syndicate Film School. Honestly, saying ânoâ to this opportunity would mean saying no to a life-changing experience.

Read moreI started my Syndicate journey a little less than a year ago and this is what I have to say:
So unlike traditional film school or school in general with pointless homework assignments, a predetermined schedule, and a repetitive curriculum that doesnât teach you much. Instead you get hands-on experience with industry standard softwares and equipment, complete control of your schedule, and courses chosen by the students. Courses vary from screenwriting, casting, editing, lighting, cameras, and much more. Not to mention the one aspect of film that nobody talks aboutâ The business and marketing aspect.
Syndicate also allows you to borrow their equipment and use their studio for any film projects you may have.
Not to mention there are countless job and internship opportunities that Syndicate provides as well as helping students to create and pursue other opportunities of their own outside of Syndicate.
In less than a year at Syndicate I have made many connections with some very high status individuals within the film industry, built a solid résumé and portfolio, and have worked on a multitude of student films which prepared me for my first ever HUGE job with NETFLIX. A job that I had got with the connections that I had made through Syndicate.
All of my praise goes to Syndicate and Vinny Arizzoâ A phenomenal instructor, someone who is highly involved in the film industry, a real person from the real world who knows real people problems, someone who has guided me, never let me down and is just an all around EXCELLENT guy who has changed my life and career for the better.
Regular film school and college is a waste of time and money, if youâre serious about pursuing a film career reach out to Syndicate...

It's not your typical film schoolâit offers hands-on experience with professional tools, real-world techniques, and a creative environment that truly pushes you to grow.
Over the past few months, Iâve developed tremendously both technically and artistically. Vinny and Jesse are more than just instructorsâtheyâre inspiring mentors with a powerful mindset. They challenge you, support you, and make your biggest creative goals feel within reach.
When I first arrived at Syndicate, I wasnât sure what area of filmmaking I was most passionate about. But through their immersive programs, I explored a wide range of rolesâDP, AC, gaffer, grip, screenwriter, editor, and of course, director.
Thanks to Syndicate, I wrote, directed, produced, and edited my first short film. I also gained invaluable experience working on my classmatesâ sets. One of the highlights was landing a PA role on a professional shootâa music video for BeyoncĂ©âs label, after Vinny's training.
The community at Syndicate, and the constant encouragement from Vinny, lit a fire in me. Without that support, I wouldnât have the same drive or confidence I have now to pursue a career...
