Dani's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Monroe Township

Have lived in the area for about 6 months. Have tried several pizza places. Just tried Dani's last night for the first time. Ordered the Buffalo chicken pizza (large 16") with blue cheese on the side (usually comes ON the pizza) and cheese fries. They said 35 minutes. 35 minutes later the food arrived and it was HOT. Had to let everything cool off for a bit before we could eat which is awesome. The food was amazing. The pizza was amazing. The chicken they use is shredded which I really like. Everyone is different but i found the heat on the hot sauce to be PERFECT. The cheese fries had a cheez whiz kinda cheese and I thought they were great. Theyre your typical munchies cheese fries which is what I was looking for and they were also HOT and obviously fresh cooked. Happy I found this place. Food was for 2 and had half of it leftover. Can't wait to try more items from them. Prices were good for the quality. Total was $34 maybe $36 and again, was spot on time wise. On a side note, always tip your drivers well. I ordered the jalapeño poppers, fried calamari, a 2liter coke, and a stuffed “The Works” pizza. The jalapeño poppers were okay, they were crunchy and the pepper was crisp but the cheese was tasteless and bland. The fried calamari was a little soggy, the inside was a little tough and gummy, but the biggest conflict was the taste, they squeeze fresh lemon and add lemon slices so they just have a very distinguished soggy and sour taste. The pizza was mostly why I’m giving it a review and 2 stars. I thought the stuffed pizza meant it would be stuffed crust, but I was wrong and that’s not an issue, just not what I expected. First time ordering. Will order again. Chicken Caesar Salad had a lot of Chicken you hardly ever see that much in a salad, boneless buffalo wings were good ordered them mild and they were exactly that. Fries were okay, more like a steak fry, not crispy but that is hard to get at any place. Soup was good and you get a nice size serving of that. The BLT... was a little disappointing. They layered the fries that come with it on top of it so it made it super soggy. The one set fell totally apart in the container then the other side as soon as u removed the tooth pick it was like mush. The bacon was not crispy and in my opinion that is the best part of a BLT crispy bacon. Next time we will ask for the BLT to be packaged by its self and ask for the bacon crispy.
