Jin House — Restaurant in Monroe Township

I hate when people give bad reviews to an authentic restaurant. Most authentic restaurants the owners were not born here and they work tirelessly at their craft. Some of the reviews say they never delivered there food, staff was rude, 1st off they don't deliver and they never have, the owners are hard-working people(husband/wife)daughter works there sometimes and they've always been pleasant to me. I avoided this place for many years and I lived in Williamstown my entire life. NOW...I won't order Chinese food from anywhere else (in this town) I'm addicted to the steamed shrimp dumplings. I asked the owner and she makes everything from scratch, wonton, dumplings, etc...the place is always clean and people, it's 2023 the prices went up Everywhere, is it really valid to leave a bad review about pricing? The gall you must have to complain about service at a Take Out Restaurant, to insult immigrants on a platform where they're probably not going retort and ripping small businesses apart because u weren't happy... We need small businesses! I like the mantra, if you don't have anything nice to say don't...

I spoke to a woman and placed an order for delivery at 7:50pm. It seemed like a normal polite conversation, and then she told me it’d be about 45 minutes and hung up (without telling me the total). 45 minutes seemed a little long considering we literally live 4 minutes away, but I shrugged it off and assumed that they were busy, and that was why she forgot to tell me the total too. After an hour and a half my wife convinced me to call them back and see if everything was okay with the order. The man I spoke to seemed confused when I told him the address, asked if we ever ordered before (which we had), and then LIED TO ME that someone called and cancelled the order. WHAT??? I asked how that was possible since I’m the only one who knew about the order. He then ignored my question and asked what I ordered. I wouldn’t have cared if they had told me that they made a mistake of some sort, or forgot, but he lied to me on the spot. After I repeated the order he told me it’d be about 15-20 minutes. This time I DID cancel the order and hung up. Never ordering...

I work at the Amish Market and sometime we just have to order out (as good as we are it gets old😉) we have tried all the Chinese places around and this one is far better than the others. I have read all the posts and am surprised at some of the lower stars. As I read I can see most have problems with the delivery or possibly a mistake in the order. Few list food quality as low. That’s because the food is great. We at the market have never had food we didn’t like. We always pick up, so I can’t say anything about delivery. I have had to wait sometimes on Busy days. But that’s to be expected. And on large orders sometimes they might get something wrong ( they are human) but we like this place and will continue to order from them. If you wasn’t perfection go elsewhere. If you want great Chinese food at a good price then order from them and pick it up. If you want great ribs and fried chicken. Come to the...
