First visit- 11/5/25
So I been wanting to try this place since it open and finally got to. My nephew came out to try it with me & for us to catch up with each other.
First off, the decor and all out side is great. Nice set up for the fall. They have a nice little outdoor patio area for nice weather days. The indoor design & decor is nice. Kinda high-end feel, but not to fancy. I like it, really nice setup. Even their bathroom is nice. Had a sliding barn door, and very clean features. The place itself was very clean and tidy.
Staff from the moment we walked were friendly and attentive. Through out our whole time there the staff would periodically check in on us and see how the food was and if we needed everything. (Not in a overcrowding of a way of checking in).
Now for the food. Overall I was pleased with the food, but stayed on the safer side and order stuff I figured I'd like vs being a little adventurous. (That's may be the next visit.) So for appetizers, we ordered the Gnocchi Trio & the Pecorino Fries. The Gnocchi Trio was ok. Did like it gave 3 dipping sauces. The Pecorino Fries I believe are fresh cut fries(from the looks of them) & were cooked well. Good flavor on them. We also ordered the added cheese sauce side.(recommend) For our main dishes, my nephew got the Roasted Garlic Raviolis. He seemed to enjoy it. I ordered the Crab Linguine. Great flavor and like you can see some crab in the dish. (Definitely good for a first visit.) Now, for dessert, we ended up deciding on the Apple Crumb Skillet. It was very good and perfect for 2 people to split.(Especially when being pretty full.)
In closing, its a great little spot. Definitely will have to come back. Me and my nephew were talking about trying their Pumpkin Pie pizza, so have to come back for that. (Gotta be adventurous and try new things.) Also, want to try some of their other menu items, so there will be a few updates to this post...
Read moreWe recently booked Ash & Oak for a private party to celebrate our daughter’s graduation. I communicated with Nik and Chef Vince for booking. They were both fantastic - answered all of me questions quickly and made the planning process extremely easy. The food was phenomenal! Our menu consisted of meatball sliders, wood fired wings, pecorino fries, and Arancini for starters. Chef Vince surprised us with Crab Arancini in addition to the regular Arancini & my daughter LOVED it! The meatballs in the sliders were without a doubt the best we have ever tasted. Then came the Caesar salad and pizzas. We ordered the Ash & Oak signature pizza, the Drunkin Cousin and Margarita for our pie selection - and of course Chef Vince put out a few extra favorites for us to try. Our guests raved that it was the best pizza they have ever had! Just when we thought we couldn’t eat another bite - the rigatoni vodka was served. The pasta was cooked to perfection and the sauce - wow! House made cannolis were served with our cake and they were amazing as well. Our servers were Shannon and Julie and they were super attentive and did a wonderful job helping us decorate and taking care of our guests. The party never felt like a typical catered event- everything had a special touch that made it very relaxed and enjoyable. It’s evident that Chef Vince takes a lot of pride in his dishes (even when we went for dinner one night the food was spectacular). We highly recommend Ash & Oak for booking a private party & for dining - you will not be...
Read moreIf you're looking for a true taste of Italy in a warm, welcoming atmosphere, Ash & Oak delivers on all fronts. From the moment you step in, you're greeted with the aroma of a wood fire oven and slow-simmered sauces that instantly tell you you're in for something special.
The standout of the evening was their Chicken Parmigiana. Perfectly breaded and fried to a crisp golden brown, the chicken cutlet was juicy on the inside and smothered in a rich, marinara sauce (or vodka) Topped with a generous layer of melted mozzarella and served over al dente spaghetti, this classic dish hit every comforting note without being overly heavy. It’s everything you want in a chicken parm — familiar, flavorful, and satisfying.
Equally impressive was the Short Rib Bolognese. This dish was a revelation the slow-braised short rib was incredibly tender, practically melting into the hearty tomato-based sauce. The bolognese was layered and deep in flavor, with just enough acidity to balance the richness of the meat.
The service was attentive without being intrusive, and the staff clearly knows the menu inside out.
Whether you're stopping in for a casual dinner or celebrating something special, Ash and Oak offers a memorable Italian dining experience that goes beyond the basics. Highly...
