#1. Original Review: March 2nd, 2022 - My fiancé and I stopped into Milanos tonight for some take-out. Upon arriving at Milanos, you are greeted by the very nice manager and pizza chef (possibly the owner or their son, as well), and courteous counter staff. Everyone is very friendly and in great spirits, it's a happy atmosphere. He suggested some specialty pizzas and we decided on the "BBQ Chicken Pizza" with a side of "Funnel Fries" (pictures included :warning: instant hunger alert will betrigged). While standing waiting for our order, the manager referenced for us to sit and enjoy our wait in the Milano Cafe. 🍕

When walking into the Milano Cafe, you are greeted by a beautiful smile that belonged to the young counter girl. They have a bar where you are able to sit and enjoy a meal. There's also a bunch of dining tables with chairs, too. We decided to have a relaxing sit on the sectional sofa which had decorative throw pillows. Side note: Funny story, their one pillow reads "Be Our Guest," and before arriving at Milanos, I had just watched Beauty and the Beast (the original) (pictures also included). We had a lovely chat with some fellow customers seated at the bar. 😃

As we were being rung up for our order, my fiancé spots a slice of Chicken Parmigiana pizza. We quickly added it to our order (no pictures of that slice because we just as quickly scarfed it down in the car ride home). Make a bee line for home. On the way, we realized we had a script to pick up at the CVS drive-thru, where we snuck in a few bites of funnel fries. Made a recommendation to the Pharmacy Technician to make a trip to Milanos. 🛻

Finally, we arrive home to enjoy two slices each and some funnel fries, with the included chocolate syrup. EVERYTHING was PHENOMENAL and DELICIOUS AF!!! My fiancé is now in a Milanocoma (as I've dubbed it), and he's fast asleep at 9:30 pm. Thanks for a deliciously enjoyed meal, Milanos!! 😋

#2. Updated Review: Saturday, January 28th, 2023 - At quarter to 10pm, my fiancé and I ordered. We got our usual of the "Chicken Parmigiana pizza" and added some "Funnel Fries" since I haven't had them in almost a year. As always, Milanos didn't disappoint and our food was delicious. Once again, my fiancé is in a Milanocoma! 💤

After enjoying our meal, I had called Milanos to let them know how amazing our meal was, but they had already closed. So, I decided to come to Google and update my review for them to see. 👀

If you're ever in the area visiting, you should definitely check them out. And if you live near by and haven't ordered from Milanos before... What are you...

Me and party of 8 were at the Blue Cork Winery and we ordered food from the Milano menu. Over $100 worth of food. We ordered 2 ordered of pepperoni knots. Upon delivery they gave us 2 order of garlic knots. We called and told them that we didn't order garlic knots and that was not even an option on the menu. ( see picture) The waitress tells me that she read my order back and she said garlic knots. I responded and said no you said pepperoni knots. The manager then gets on the phone and said that he was standing next to her when she read my order back. Like really you just so happen to be standing next to her which was over 30 min when she read back MY order. ( yeah right) I then repeated again that it wasn't even on the menu and that she read back pepperoni knots. He said we had to pay if we wanted what we actually ordered. Then the icing on the cake is because Blue Cork partners with them we told the manager and she said oh I'm shocked they would do that. However, she did not make an attempt to make it right either. The thing is as a business you should make it right with your customer. The pepperoni knots were literally $8. So 2 business had the opportunity to make it right and neither of them did. Although I can't prove it I believe if we had been white both business would have made it right. I recommend no one gives business to either...

Milano's has been a staple of "good" fast Italian food in the community. They have ALWAYS served folks well. Attention to detail, quality, and fast polite service have been a "norm" for them.

Today however has been less that satisfactory. I ordered a simple cheese steak with extra provolone, xtra *3 mayo, fried onions and mushrooms. It first arrives with no chees or mayo - I call and tell them that there was no cheese or mayo - they say that they will send anther one. It arrives - now 2 hours after my initial call. This time NO mayo. I call aggrivated and rightfully so expecting that another will be sent out right away. No, I receive a call from god knows who because the didn't identify them selves stating that they will send some mayo - NO - they said that they should make it a 3rd time ??? I told them simply that they should have done it right the FIRST time.

Unbelievable !! This place used to be the absolute BEST in town. Now - forget it - they are worthless. They clearly do not care about their customers or putting out the right food the first imte. They have lost their attention to detail and concern for those that have supported them over the years in the community.

Avoid...

We've gone here twice now, and the first time wasn't bad. Got a large pizza and a calzone for $60 all in (crazy). Went back on a Saturday night because we had kitchen issues, and got a Stromboli, calzone, and mozzerella sticks delivered. Another $60. It. Was. AWFUL!!! The mozzerella sticks were DISGUSTING and cold, very clearly frozen garbage I can pick up from the grocery store. The entire Stromboli was burnt. Not a little burnt, BURNT BURNT. The calzone had absolutely no flavor. The entire meal was disgusting, and expensive to boot. Will not be back.
