Food : 3.5/5 We came in a day with limited menu items. The bbq was good and tender-not overcooked. I would recommend their fresh naan and bbq. The other items were not special or too good and wouldn't recommend them based on price and flavor as there are better and cheaper options on Pittsburgh . The afghani palo, listed as 34.99, only had the tiniest piece of meat, size of my thumb. I would rather get it from the many Uzbek and pakistani restaurants in Pittsburgh. The flavour wasn't special but it hit the spot if you like kabuli Palao. We ordered parathas as well, but they honestly were more like ghee wali roti with fillings rather than parathas. Better to avoid these and get the oven fresh naan.
Dine in experience 1/5: We got our food after multiple delays about 1hr 40 min after our order because a big group that came after us got prioritized despite us having a smaller order. Also there is a hidden card charge FEE which they don't tell you! You only find out once you get handed the bill after paying! ... Which they should tell you before to preferably pay in cash to avoid additional fees. Poor server guy was doing his best, but honestly not his fault. I've had some chargha that a friend brought a different day and the seasoning was good, so I think this place has potential but I wouldn't recommend dine in because of the lack of disclosures and poor management, but I think this place has potential. Might check it out again in the future. Location: 4/5 The decorations of the place were cute, but the floor was quite dirty and full of trash thus 4 stars instead of 5. Hygiene is super important! Location is...
Read moreWe decided to try Lahore Spice since it was relatively close and had authentic Pakistani/Indian food. I'm pleased to say we were satisfied with our order.
We went to the brunch buffet on the weekend to try the chickpea/potato curries with fluffed bread and it was very delicious. The food was fresh and hot, and the portions were generous. The brunch buffet also includes milk chai/tea and Lassi (sweet yogurt/milk drink), both of which are an absolute must-try as well.
My brother went a la carte and ordered the chicken biryani, chicken kebabs and Lahori naans (which were all very tasty).
The staff are also very friendly and courteous. If you like authentic Pakistani/Indian food, I highly recommend...
