Dawg House Pizza — Restaurant in Monrovia

We just moved to the area, and if I'd known this place was this good, I would've moved here sooner. Seriously- we were sad to lose all our regular chain pizza places, but I had no idea Monrovia had such a gem. This pizza is so good. The crust is perfectly pillowy, they LOAD on the toppings, they delivered exactly on the minute that I requested it to arrive, the bread sticks were the most amazing smell of steamy yeast and garlic, awesome service by our delivery man- friendly and cared about welcoming us to the community, so many good things to say. It's been 2 years since I've had their food and boy has it gone downhill. I used to love it and told others about it. No more! I ordered the 12" Bulldog Pizza & 5 Pepperoni Breadsticks with Xtra Cheese Sauce. The taste is so different. Did they change the dough recipe? I used to love their dough. The pizza crust was soggy. That pizza is supposed to come with Extra Cheese. It seemed like there might have been Extra Cheese in certain areas but not all over. The taste is so not the same. While I won't say this is the absolute best pizza I have had, it definitely ranks high on the list. The biggest bonus of all though are the hand rolled breadsticks. While so many other establishments are happy to sell you frozen breadsticks that have been heated up, these are fresh made. Try them stuffed with pepperoni. So far, my wife and I have tried the cheeseburger pizza and a deep dish. Both pizzas had more than ample toppings and were cooked just right. The deep dish in particular was great for the price.
