My family and I came here on Father’s Day. I would definitely say this place needs a strong revision to their business model. Without a doubt this may have been the worst dining experience I’ve had.
Started out ordering a Top Dawg Platter with Mozzarella Sticks, Fried Pickles and Fried Mushrooms. I would assume the mozzarella sticks should have came with marinara sauce but I had to ask for that. I’d say at the very least 10 minutes went by watching the server do anything except grab the marinara. Things are forgotten so I wasn’t going to let it bother me too much.
Finally she brought it apologizing for having forgotten it. A couple minutes later I bite into a fried mushroom but notice a strange texture and taste. I spit it into a napkin to see black come out of my mouth. Realizing I had just eaten a fried ball of dirt.
I get up to go rinse my mouth out in the sink and come back to the server trying to figure out the problem.
She took the napkin to the back and apologized saying she would see if they could comp the mushrooms. She came back out pretty quick too after having carried my spit dirt mixture so I’d be surprised if hands were washed too.
I still had BBQ wings coming out though and didn’t want to make a scene and attempt to enjoy the rest of my meal.
Out comes Mild wings…. Again oh well, go with the cards you were dealt. The wings were fine even though they weren’t what I had ordered.
Finally the bill comes and I suppose the entire eating DIRT things just got swept under the rug because the mushrooms were not taken off…
YES I JUST GOT BILLED TO EAT DIRT…..
There were other small things that you can tell the employees aren’t trained properly. Sad considering what this place was before the fire.
No doubt I will not be back and I wouldn’t be surprised to see this restaurant either closed or under new ownership within the year.
Would give a -5 stars if possible and would highly advise a state inspection of...
Read moreWorst tasting, presentation, food ever. Sandwiches are soggy and cold, execution of menu was absolutely horrid. Pizza dough, raw. "Special of the day" French dip looked like it was dipped in the sink and slapped on a plate. Fries, cold. Over an hour (73 minutes) before food delivered. Witnessed two tables, of which came in AFTER our group, get food BEFORE we did. Cook witnessed to argue and cuss out server, also eating a pizza from the gas station - WHATS THAT TELL YA PEOPLE!! Cook told server he would come out and speak with our table, coward can run his mouth and fail to do standard cooking practices but then refused to come speak to us. Only thing that wasn't bad, was the cold, bottled beer. Flavors tasted like everything was frozen and prepackaged. If I was the owner, Amber, I would put more of a focus being present in my establishment, backing my FOH staff, and firing my Cook to find a proper executioner of food. The fact that there is, at the time of writing, no manager and that Amber ownership practices allows "for servers to only mess up in the amount of $15.99 and we cannot close out tickets and go home" when the issue resides with you BOH Cook. I have served for over a decade, your servers are NOT responsible for how your food is ordered, stored, prepped, and cooked. THAT I'd all on your BOH staff and I am appalled to know you "defend" you serving staff in such a way. Shame on you, and shame on this establishment for attempting to advertise the level of food when I wouldn't feed it to a felon as...
Read moreWe have been to the new Main street Grill 6 times since it opened.
Everything we have tried, Prime Rib, Cheeseburger, Chicken sandwich, Catfish, onion soup, chili, hand cut fries, tater tots, etc. and we haven't found anything we haven't liked.
Every time we have gone we have had to wait for a table, it has been that busy.
Most people waiting are courteous and friendly but the last time in we had been waiting about 25 minutes.
One of the Servers came over to us and told us a table was ready to leave and they would clean off the table for us as soon as they left.
Well, as we were waiting with another 2 people a family of 4 walked in, saw the table being cleaned off and walked over and sat down at the table.
The two ladies that came in behind us noticed and my wife later told me they were talking to each other about it as I was walking over to the table.
When I got to the table I said to the Dad, excuse me sir, we have been waiting for this table, the Server was cleaning it off for my wife and I.
He immediately cursed at me and said the sign said seat yourself. I asked him if he noticed there were several people already here waiting for a table?
He told his family to get up, they were F'ing leaving and cursed at me again as he walked out the door.
We don't go out to eat to fight over a table. I guess some folks are just entitled and don't ever need to...
