Service makes all the difference here. Came in for the first time on what seemed to be a busy Saturday morning. Ordered two cold coffee drinks for my wife and I. After a couple minutes, I received my drink but my wife did not. I assumed hers would be shortly after as it might be more complicated to make. However, four patrons came in after us, ordered, and received their orders while we were standing near the front counter in plain sight. When I asked if they could check on my wife's drink, I was told they were "making it right now". Again, two more patrons came in, ordered and received their orders while we waited. Finally the young lady at the register asked what size drink we had ordered (clarifying that they had in fact forgotten us) and at that point started making it. Once it was done, she set the drink on the counter and called out that it was ready and walked away. We waited close to 20 minutes from the time my drink was done, until the time my wife got her drink with no explanation, let alone apology. It's the little things that can make a big difference. Only after we asked for a straw did they apologize for the wait. It seemed more like a brush off. I'm not saying don't come here, but I doubt we will come back as it definitely rubbed us...

New staff. I had a breve latte which was superb. Perfection: very smooth coffee with a nice finish.
They make all their food, from scratch, on-site in a small kitchen. How they can do this is a wonder. Splurge on a muffin: these are decadent. The breakfast bagel was among the best I’ve eaten. .
My original rating was three stars. I upgraded to five stars.

They're new, and they're working through some glitches.
I ordered a breve latte, which tasted liked soapy water. The barista had just cleaned the coffee maker with -- you guessed it, soap and water and there was a bit of soapy residue in it. They fixed the problem, and replaced it with a very satisfactory breve latte.
The barista got involved in a conversation with a drive through patron. While she was talking, three people came into the restaurant and were waiting. I finally went outside and told her that there were people waiting in line.
This place is new, and they're obviously working through some glitches.
Note: it will help if they have a little dish tub for customers to place their dirty dishes, rather than leaving dirty dishes on...

Small mistakes are OK to be made, especially by young new employees. This certain employee has made a profound and unforgettable experience from a previous coffee shop. She does her job well and she is friendly with everyone people make mistakes and to be yelled at for those is not OK if you have someone that has experience use it to your full potential There is no need to be nasty to where paying customers can hear you I am highly disappointed in the management. I will not be returning and I will not be showing up to their new location in Cloverdale. Hopefully they learn how to work and treat newcomers with respect and don’t use their age as a reason to boss them around or say that they’re incompetent or...
