Incredible beer selection from the Northwest in particular, and encompassing the world of beer. Also nice to have wine (on tap?!), as my wife does not drink beer. So happy to have a low key, reasonably priced option north of the viaduct in Whitefish. Tried and enjoyed most of the food menu items, good fish tacos, burritos.. A decent burger is my benchmark for restaurant success, and I have to say I have not been disappointed here. Drives me nuts to pay for a burger and have one that I as an amateur home cook would be ashamed to serve to guests. Good sized patty of tasty beef, not overcooked any of the several times I've ordered it, served on a quality bun- all I ask for, delivered here. The fries are also good enough that I usually take whatever I can't finish home to reheat later (not something I bother with generally). Service has been great, didn't take too many visits before the bartenders remembered my name and asked if I'd like a Blackfoot IPA when I stepped to the bar. A worthy replacement of the Dire Wolf that was here when we moved to the neighborhood, can't wait for powder hour on pow days and the place to smell like wet ski gear after an epic day on the hill! Excited to have a place with potential for actual soul to open up in our...

Very disappointed. We were a party of 9 and obviously out of towners. So it took us a few minutes to figure out what we were suppose to do. We pulled two tables together. Scoured the place to find menus on other tables and proceeded to order from the order counter. We asked about drinks and the young girl was not friendly at all. We saw the sign about ordering alcohol at the bar however some of us wanted water or sodas and she had some attitude about her being 17 she can't serve alcohol, which wasn't even our question. I highly recommend adding the option for the under age to at least let us purchase or non alcoholic beverages at the food counter. It was silly to pay twice. Also, why was it not possible to just carry the tab over to the bar? Then the food. For a place that most everything is a sandwich. It took about an hour to get all of our food out and they came out one sandwich at a time. Since I ordered first, my food was cold by the time the last person's came out. Also, when I went to ask about the dipping sauces the again 17 year old girl had more attitude about us not seeing it in the corner. The decor was nice, but the staff and...

Went there 3/20/21 with a party of 6. I’d first like to say the food is absolutely amazing. The two star is for the service or lack there of. My wife was the first to order. She ordered a Philly and was asked if she wanted east or west Philly. After the the gentleman taking our order explained to her the difference she ordered the east coast Philly. Everyone else in our party then orders and we sit down and order drinks while we wait. After everyone’s food came out my wife was still missing her Philly. She’s asked the gentlemen dropping off the food where her food was and he said he would go check and be right back. After waiting roughly 10 min he never returned so I go ask where her food is and they said we didn’t order it. I explained my wife was the first person to place her order. They simply said nope it’s not on the ticket. So we paid our Tab and left because our party had eaten all their food by this point. It was unfortunate that the service was terrible and I felt bad for my wife who didn’t get any food. The food that was delivered was good though. So kudos to the cooks, but shame on the people...

The beer selection is superb, and I love that there are options for people who don't drink beer. The food is terrible and terribly expensive. The pizza had to be the worst I've ever had. The crust is similar to hard flatbread. There was no sauce (or if there was, you couldn't tell), mystery cheese (you couldn't tell if it was real cheese), tiny and sparse meat toppings. The whole thing had been covered with spices (probably to disguise the rest of the ingredients). It was like having imitation pizza, and didn't come close to being filling. We made the mistake of trying the tacos and the wings because we were still hungry. Those were better, but not by much. We may be back just for drinks, but will avoid the kitchen at all costs.

Don’t waste your time with anything else in Whitefish. The Montana taphouse is so inviting and welcoming. It feels like you’re sitting in your living room with the fire going. The service and the food are both incredible. I wish I had gone here the first night I was in whitefish. If you’re a craft beer lover, the selection is incredible. They have every style of local brews throughout the state and surrounding areas. You would have to Uber/Lift from the center of town, but it’s well worth it. Venture out a mile from the popular areas, and explore the taphouse. PS. They have the best mozzarella sticks I’ve ever had anywhere. They were more like mozzarella egg rolls. Ugh. I wish I was there now—😔.

Bordering on inedible. Their ‘pockets’ are dough wrapped around stale ingredients. Cooked so poorly the cheese not even meted. They wrap in pizza dough so I expect they believe it cures all evils. And served on a prison like pie tin. Cute? No. The fact that they serve it with two packets on mayonnaise AND say that on the menu tells u all you need to know. Beer. Just a tick above lukewarm. I don’t recall a worse meal in the valley. So bad I deem it not worthy of a second trip to try something else. I shoulda read reviews. They all say same things. Great beer selection. Nice staff. Crappy food.
