We ordered the burrata to start, The Kale Caesar salad, The ribeye dips, the chicken clubs, and the salmon. The Burrata and salads came out at the same time, which isn’t a bother, but I usually prefer to have my appetizers out before my salad, That way everyone has a chance to eat the Appetizer, it also takes away from having a three course meal, which is an aesthetic all in itself. The Burrata was good, But Could have used more basil. The Kale Caesar was OK, there were a couple croutons and a bunch of dressing covering kale. The chicken clubs were average. The salmon was delicious. We also ordered some sweet potato fries, those weren’t cooked through enough Because the middle of the french fry was still a little crunchy, it wasn’t a soft fry. The ribeye dips were interesting. One was cooked pretty well through but tender enough and another wasn’t cooked through enough. The meat was still pretty red, and the fat on the Steak was very chewy. It was pretty salty as well and made it so dipping it in the jus Was too overpowering with salt. I was surprised at how much fat was in the sandwich even got some hard pieces, but I understand that’s a ribeye, but maybe some trimming could’ve been done. The bread on all the sandwiches wasn’t soft. It was almost too toasted and hurt to bite down onto. I have scrapes on the roof of my mouth. The portions weren’t big which I’m fine with, but I expect the quality to be incredible.
The servers were good, they all looked well dressed and match the aesthetic. Between courses not all plates were cleared so it made it hard to move things Around the table. Part of our party arrived a little late and she was ready to take our order right away, but we asked for two minutes and then it became about 12 minutes before she came back for orders Even after stacking our menus up on our plates to indicate that we are ready.
Overall, I highly recommend this place for its aesthetic. The food is mid range for what you pay for. I definitely think you could make the food at home for a lot less.
I would recommend reservations since they just opened. There is parking but it’s valet parking so I recommend parking down the street at one of the shopping centers...
Read moreThird time here. and bummed it was disappointing. Shrimp and veggie salad charred but that would have been ok .. not great as so much brined.
unfortunately, unlike last time when trying to find an all plant based vegan main dish, we all landed on the Chinese chicken salad. No chicken add avocado and RH offered to alter the price. BUT this time they charged same price without chicken.
This time the waiter said Hmm and would talk to manager. When manager dropped off the bill, I asked if waiter said anything. He said No, offering a lovely smile and said he would adjust. The bill was returned with no change and no words. Fine if they changed their mind from last time but at least advise the customer.
The lack of clear consistent communication does not build confidence.
RH - it would be easy to make that salad offering two option for chicken or avocado w/ chickpea (protein) Pricing it the same (or not) - both options offer protein in a respectful manner encouraging plant based customers. RH will make more money on the vegan option as higher margin. Adding the chickpeas or something similar to your kitchen will take up very little space, won’t carry the same health risks of raw chicken. And support the health conscious plant based eaters of Montecito./Santa Barbara
Some friends advised that RH upcharge an additional 4% service, that’s written in fine print on the bottom of the menu. Some people have told me that they wish the company would take care of the staff especially given the RH prices versus adding it as additional percentage for customer.
Like most new places in the Santa Barbara area it’s new so it’s trending. For a while
We have really tried and each time are told they just getting started and will be working on some plant based mains. Yet, seems RH is not making this happen. Today I was told they are a big company and it’s up to Corporate … And that maybe I should contact Corporate
So consider...

The Shrimp Starter is a must-try appetizer. It features six succulent grilled shrimp served with a delectable sauce.
My favorite dish is the Chicken Sando. At first glance, it may seem ordinary, but trust me, it’s phenomenal. It’s grilled differently with a unique and unbelievable flavor.
The Lobster Roll is another standout dish. It’s an absolute delight, bursting with flavor and texture. I wish I had ordered two!
The Broiled Salmon is another culinary masterpiece. Tender and bursting with flavor, it’s a true standout.
My wife raved about the Branzino, calling it one of the best she’s ever had. While it may require a bit of effort to extract the meat, it’s worth the effort. The Kale Caesar complements the Branzino perfectly.
A great alternate is their Shaved RibEye Dip. The Au Jus is a bit saltier than most, but the meat is very tasty.
