繁花Fanhua BLOSSOM — Restaurant in Monterey Park

Fanhua Blossom is a brand new boba tea and dessert shop in Monterey Park, CA. The unit’s former tenant was also a boba tea shop. Blossom has a good selection of tea drinks and desserts on the menu. I was greeted by a shy soft spoken young female staff on the counter. I tried to order Soufflé Pancakes but she said not available. Okay, that’s disappointing. I decided to order a Pineapple Mango boba tea. It tastes good not too sweet not too bland with good pineapple bits.

Service was okay but can be improved. Prices seem fair. Staff were competent. Indoor design was riddled with huge paper flowers and decals. Express Kiosk is available. Atmosphere was okay. They have a huge flat screen TV showing some random Chinese commercial. Moreover, they have board games and cards for customers to play with. Similarly, there were store boxes on the far end corner which was an eye sore. No menu overhead board on the counter yet given they are relatively brand new tea shop.

I am genuinely impressed with the drinks here. What started off as a random late night milk tea craving turned into this amazing discovery. All the drinks I've ordered have been so good, each crafted with so much care and consideration. Standout so far has been the White Peach Oolong Milk Tea. Not usually a fan of, but this is by far the best peach milk tea I've ever had. The peach is not overwhelmingly sweet and the tea is perfectly brewed and so fragrant.

Orders will take a while as I believe each cup is brewed individually. The workers there have been so nice and helpful, and with it being the holidays the vibe has been extra festive. The menu isn't ridiculously large, which I believe helps keep everything high quality.

I recently tried the Avacado mango sweet dew and the icy durian smmothie at Blossom, and they were delightful! The drinks had the perfect balance of sweetness and creaminess, with a smooth, rich flavor that wasn’t too overpowering. The boba pearls were soft and chewy, just the way I like them—fresh and perfectly cooked. I appreciated the wide variety of flavors and fresh ingredients available as well.
