American Deli — Restaurant in Montgomery

Very eclectic selection of foods! Only had a garden salad, which was a huge portion. In addition to the normal salad veggies, this had green pepper, salad peppers, and dill pickle slices.

One party member had the fish (2 generously sized pieces, but they said it tasted good to start with but before the 1st was gone, it was very fishy), one had shrimp fried rice, one veggie fried rice.

We'd probably go again to sample other items, if we lived...

Got DoorDash from here. Run… don’t walk…. to anywhere else. Even a 7/11 is better.

The fries were not fried. They were put into oil and then pulled out. Not cooked in the least. The chicken strips were a little better but not done at all and gooey.

If you believe that your food should be cooked, find an open dumpster fire, a stick to poke through your food, and cook it over the dumpster fire and it will be a better choice...

I suggest American Deli find a better supplier for its wings. The size of the wings they offer compared to the price is subpar...and that's being nice. Selling tiny wings at full price that are fit for a toddler is not a good look. Other than that, my burger was ok but kind of dry. I've had worse, but definitely a need for...
