Eastbrook Deli — Restaurant in Montgomery

My brother in law told me about this deli on Tuesday afternoon and I tried it that evening and ordered the rueben sandwich with corned beef and it was beyond words incredibly delicious. I have visited New York City only once in 2006. We felt that we just had to enjoy lunch at Katz's Deli. On Tuesday the 11th of February, when I ordered the reuben sandwich, I mentioned to an employee that I was going to compare them to the world famous Katz's Deli and people, maybe it wasn't completely the same as Katz's, it was phenomenally good. I stopped by again this evening, 14 February 2025 and ordered the pastrami sandwich. Yes it was perfectly delicious, but I prefer the corned beef. I thanked two employees this evening for opening up this Deli. I deeply hope the people of Montgomery will support this Montgomery gem. If you are hungry for a well made sandwich, this is a trillion times better than Subway or anywhere else in the tri county area. I very highly recommend this restaurant!!!!

Valentine's night, 2025 I enjoyed a rueben sandwich combo this evening. Both the sandwich and fries were too hot to eat immediately. I cannot say that about many restaurants. Edit 21 June 2025: I have been coming to this restaurant for several months now. Their consistent high quality has brought me to feel like they're a mainstay in my restaurant rotation. I suffer from strong acid reflux and this is the only restaurant in town where I can eat a hot sandwich and fries with a coke and not feel sick afterwards. Please come support this small business!

Edit 8 February 2025: Went back there today and got the smash burger with fries and drink. They changed the fries and added a few spices to them as well. They are very crunchy now and full of flavor! Come support this small business, they listen!

Original Review: Super good food, my girlfriend and i came in and tried to today. Both of us got da bronx subs and both of them were beautifully crafted, and didnt fall apart like sub sandwiches usually do. The fries were full of flavor and were amazing as well, though I felt they needed a bit of salt and was able to add it due to the salt shaker at the table (not much, but a very light sprinkling made them perfect). We brought the food to home and we can say it was the best breakfast “load me up burrito” I ever ate, it came with home fries. It was sooo delicious, they used beef bacon and halal meat in their Deli, my daughter also very happy with the blueberry and strawberry pancakes, they’re huge she ate it for 2 times in that day. We really enjoyed the breakfast from Eastbrook deli, the staff very friendly , it was their soft opening when we went there. This place is really a gem for the neighborhood and Montgomery !! Update: 2/22/2025 I ordered the lemon chicken rice bowl and brought it home, it was amazingly good and so unique! Especially the white sauce and hot sauce I requested separate just in case I’m not gonna like it but surprisingly I really really love those homemade sauce. It’s gonna be everyone favorite sauce in my opinion. If you know Halal Guys, to us, this is ten times better! The portion was huge I couldn’t finish it, but my husband happily did!
