Jack's Family Restaurant — Restaurant in Montgomery

The workers here are a joke! I came through the drive-through. The woman told me my amount didn’t say hello or anything, I went ahead and gave her my money. She gave me my change, closed the window talking about the eclipse, etc. I was mumbling to myself in the car about how she’s rude and she said excuse me do you have something you want to say to me? I finally told her yeah, you’re rude and I told her about herself and she didn’t like it. She said well I don’t feel like I was being rude. Well, I told her it doesn’t matter what you think about it, you were being rude. She then shut the window again and said something about my order; God only knows what they put on the food. And then she handed me my food and didn’t say anything and she said you can just pull off and I said well you can F off. She’s a fat black woman with braids, long braids. I went on ahead and called in and was explaining what happened to the person who answered the phone, I asked to speak to the manager, probably wasn’t even the manager. I had to repeat myself And I use the F bomb about the woman how rude she was and this woman said, well I wasn’t involved in that so you don’t need to cuss. I told her I said I am gonna cuss and I’m gonna cuss at you and the woman that was working at the window, y’all need to do better. I won’t be surprised if this location closes in three months.. UPDATE: It's too bad that the two people who could have resolved this problem already failed to do so. They both know the time and date, they both know that it was captured on Jack's security cams over the cash register, and they have both chosen to ignore this apparently systemic problem. (I will add that I have the telephone conversations recorded as well.)

ORIGINAL REVIEW: If you want your fast food to be f'd up, if you want to be insulted by management, and if you want to have your complaints ignored by upper management, then go to Jack's.

This location on the North-eastern Bypass is the worst of this lousy chain. The staff are stupid or truly don't care --or both! The manager is more interested in blaming customers for the foul-ups of his staff. The corporate management personnel don't care about the idiocy, misplaced blame, and unwarranted insults.

Skip this place, esp. at lunch when tjemanager and his morons go into...

Definitely mixed feelings for this location. Food is good. They are fast and are rarely busy in the mornings which is when I would want jacks. The problem is, I’m not getting what I’m paying for. For example when I order a side of grits,I want more than 1/3 of the amount that is supposed to be in that bowl. I’ve attached pics on what I’m talking about. I ordered two sides of grits. The first picture is what they consider a side of grits and the other picture is the two sides of grits I got (combined into one of the bowls by me)and the bowl still isn’t all the way full like other locations would serve it as. I’m not wanting something for free, I’m just simply wanting what I’ve just paid for. That should not be too much to ask but it seems more and more your lucky to get decent quality...
