Panda House — Restaurant in Montgomery

Waitr Order I ordered a meal for delivery via Waitr tonight. I received a call from the delivery driver that she's has to go back to the restaurant because they'd called and told her they'd forgotten part of my order. She wanted to let me know that it would be another 15 minutes or so. Shortly after the restaurant called me to let me know the same thing. She also told me that she'd given me some extras in my order. She asked that if I had a problem to just call back and let her know. Shortly after my driver delivered my order the restaurant called again just to make sure my food had been delivered and if everything was ok. THIS IS HOW YOU DO COSTUMER SERVICE from both my driver and the restaurant. I was happy with my order and the delivery. Communication, straightforwardness, and a little something to say we apologize for our error. It doesn't take much. Thank you...

I was highly disappointed, and dissatisfied. I ordered Mongolian Beef .... Instead I received Mongolian onion's with a little beef in it. I intended to go another place but they were closed . After seeing the reviews I decided to go to Panda. What I received was almost completely onion's and sauce. First time there, and my last time there. ... I have to change my rating from one Star to 3 Star. The reason for this change is to be fair to the company. That's the only right and fair thing to do. They remade my order. It's not 5 because it took work on my side to make it right. So my heart question, did it happen to someone else. Or, for that part, many people. Because they righted this wrong, it would be wonderful for me to not acknowledge that they fixed...

Panda House is pretty darn good for what it is...a cheap takeaway restaurant. To that end, there isn't any atmosphere and about the same number of tables.

Lunch 'specials' are listed at $5.55, and come with your choice of steamed or fried rice. Adding an egg roll makes it a 'combo.' Okay. Throw in a cup of water, and your total bill is $8.31. It might be a different total tomorrow...only The Shadow knows.

Even so, it was more than a fair price for a nice sized portion of Szechuan chicken. Panda House uses fresh, not frozen or canned, vegetables and isn't (or at least wasn't) stingy with the chicken either. Also, the egg roll was better than average...maybe a 7 out of 10.
