Don Chuy "Berthas" Mexican Food — Restaurant in Montrose

We live in Montrose and Mexican food is our favorite. I have tied this place several times hoping I'll see a difference with the atmosphere and attitude of the server and cook. This last time I ate there was the worst! The carneta meat taisted old and cooked in old oil. Getting extra salsa Roja was like asking for a large amount of money or something. They are very rude and they do not like it if you ask for more salsa or anything for that matter. After several visits I came to the conclusion that there are many other mexican restaurants in Montrose that are more pleasant, the food is better and the service is better and you are treated better than this place. I ordered a combo plate w/ 2 red hot sauces and 1 green hot sauce. The lady gave me 1 green sauce. I went back inside and asked for my red hot sauce and she handed me one. I told her that I asked for two. She replied, "that's all you get". Well that's the last Don Chuy's will see of me and my money. The service was poor. The lady really could use an attitude adjustment. The food was average at best. But the red stuff must be liquid gold if you're willing to lose business over a thimble of hot sauce. This place is a dump, but the food was edible. The ignorant woman at the counter is about as friendly as a rock. I was the only person in the restaurant and waited five minutes before she even walked up to the counter, acting like I was a nuisance for even being there. Never looked at me, no smile, no greeting, and stood there for a couple more minutes before I finally spoke up and asked her if I was able to order or not.
