The good, were the people, the food (which was excellent) and the warm and welcoming atmosphere that is presented. I was there on Friday night, October 23rd. The opening act was the worst. Everyone at our table was holding their hands over their ears. It was sad, because the 3 young men really WANT to be good, but it was just painful listening to them. The main act, THE RAT PACK is only fair at best as far as their singing talent. Their show in itself, was pleasant and entertaining, and it made for a good overall night out. The man that played Sammy Davis Jr. (who SHOULD have had the most talent)...was off key in just about every song he sang except for Candy Man. Even his voice range was NOTHING like the real Sammy. The directors of this show really need to search for a replacement for his part. Again, listening to him sing, was mostly painful to the ears. When the servers would come around and ask if we enjoyed the show, we all said "yes" and felt bad that we really could not say what I am saying here. We sat at a table with another couple that we had just met that night, and spoke with others...and what I am saying here really does reflect a truthful feeling felt by all who understand and know music. I, again, would encourage the staff to be honest with their talent and search for the very best, because the whole idea of this theater is...
Read moreMy husband & I were wanting to celebrate our 29th anniversary. Due to recent medical issues, we had to cancel our plans for a weekend getaway. We needed something local that didn't involve much interaction. Yellow Rose Dinner Theater, Christmas Wonderland! There is not a bad seat in the house. We were on the second row. The Dinner Salad, Iced Tea, and choice of entree before the show were quite pleasing. The Christmas Show with so many familiar songs was very enjoyable. Strong, talented cast. Intermission gave us a choice of six, eye-tempting desserts. You get a sight & description of all six, then choose your favorite. Our waitress was great. She was also part of the cast after all intermission. I was disappointed that only one other couple (four couples at our table of eight) gave her a tip. She was very attentive and available as needed. I guess that they didn't think of it because she didn't bring a check at the end of dinner service. But she served us well!!!!! I recommend this hidden gem for a nice evening out for dating or seasoned couples. My husband interacted when asked to join as an elf on stage. It was a blast as he was a helper elf. He is...
Read moreWe had great experiences in the past. HOWEVER - It's EXTREMELY disappointing that when a life is literally in the thresh-hold, this Christian organization refused to refund money, due to an emergency out of state crises, dealing with the life of a ticketholders' brother, brother-in-law, and Uncle of the other ticket holders, had to rush out of state. Very, very disappointing! The lady at the "box office" had even assured us,very specifically that although there typically aren't refunds, obviously, they would make an exception if some family emergency came up. Having no idea that something legitimately arose, with alarm and life-threatening situation early Saturday afternoon, we immediately called to let them know, so they could re-sell the seats to a sold out show, out of courtesy. - They ABSOLUTELY did NOT honor their word, or their customers, according to the ticket office on Saturday, and her manager's absolutely inappropriate responses, as well as lack of cooperation in refunding the tickets. Being in customer service, this is absolutely appalling, and...
