Moore Liquor — Local services in Moore

This is a great freakin' liquor store. It's kind of in this unassuming little strip but don't let that fool you. The selection here rivals many of the giant emporiums you'll find in Norman & OKC. And if you're into wine they have a sizable wine area. What I really like is the across-the-board consistently low prices. I'm a comparison shopper and I can tell you they have really good price points here. Yes, they have had some small increases of late (I feel like all liquor stores have in the last 6 months) but I would still dare say this is one of the cheaper stores overall in the entire metro area. I take a star off for the staff. Specifically one particular employee who kind of gets huffy when I ask her for a box for my multiple bottle order. It's happened more than once which puzzles me. This liquor store is usually pretty great but here recently we have experienced issues. We order kegs and it’s usually a “call and place your order”. We called before the 4th and ordered two kegs and they said they would get us taken care of. More than a week went by and we heard nothing so we called.. the lady stated that they started a new email ordering system after the 4th and that our legs were never ordered because of it. I told her we were not made aware of that and that system went into place AFTER we placed our order. Moore liquor has been planning for the changing laws regarding liquor for a while. They were clever and obtain the property next to their liquor store to sell accoutrement needed to accompany mixed drinks or cigar smoking or whatever it is that makes your evening pass more pleasingly. I'm pleased and I are doing well. Also, slightly off topic, I love the signs that the owner puts out front. They're either pointedly political or hysterically funny, sometimes both. Good booze, nice things, good people, and reasonable prices. We shop there every time we go through Moore. Sometimes that's the reason we go to Moore. If you have the opportunity...
