I met my husband their today 06-25-25 for the unlimited lunch buffet & after getting my drink I slipped and fell on the floor had a hard time getting up because I kept slipping my husband eventually pulled me to the rug were i had traction to finally get up. I gazed at the floor & it looked like it was moped with oil instead of floor cleaner. The whole floor was like that. Thank you to the customers around me who had stop to help me why not one employee or manager offered to help me nor even come ask me if I was ok instead the 2 boys looked at me as they attempted to clean the floor up and ignored me when I told them the whole floor was slippery like that and that's why I fell to begin with.. I'm a older lady and I have had 3 knee surgeries on both legs I hit that floor like a ton of bricks knees first I was in alot of pain but still made no scene and finished my lunch. I shouldn't have to worry about wearing non slip resistant shoes in a restaurant to eat. Im just more upset that the management acted like it wasn't nothing. I could have made a law suit if I wanted too & probably should from the pain I was in after but was completely embarrassed and just wanted to finish my lunch with my husband why he was on his break. Needless to say its a place I like and now most likely will never return... Im just stating my experience...
Read moreI had been to this place once before. And I have all sorts of thoughts about this place. Mind you I am a transplant from long Island NY. Where pizza is nearly a lifestyle. Not only good food, but it raises childhood memories. But I need to remind myself I'm not in NY anymore. If I lived my life in indiana I guess yummyight come to mind.. but not to mine.. Chicago's does its own thing. I ordered a thin crust with extra cheese and pepperoni.
Was it pizza? Yes it filled in the blanks thin crust that is flavorless. Probably previously frozen. Sauce? Yes. A bit Spicer. More flavorful than I'm expecting. Cheese? Um after looking at it and paying for extra cheese.. I felt I didn't get what I was expecting. The moisture content wasn't there. Either previously frozen cheese which is a show stopper for me, or a blend of cheeses usually provolone.
So yeah, you do make "pizza" but not to my style.
I know you guys have mozzarella back there as your cheesy garlic bread is good.. in fact I believe if you put your sauce under the cheese on your cheesy bread you would have a 🏆 winner.
Your menu hasn't changed in the years between my visits.. having a limited menu works best I think if you had seasonal changes.
Would be 2 stars, but I bumped it up for originality. The place was clean, counter workers friendly. The food was hot and...
Read moreTonight we were greeted and seated by a friendly staff member. Although our waitress may have seemed a bit overwhelmed a friendly staff more than made up for it. They always checked to make sure we had our drinks filled, and of we needed anything else. The Breadsticks were warm, soft with sea salt to add flavor. Also, dipping the breadsticks in the warm Nacho cheese sauce made the Breadsticks taste even better. The Garlic Cheese bread was baked to perfection. Cheesy with a hint of garlic, and the bread was soft and chewy on the inside and a nice crispy crunch on the outside crust. The Buffalo Chicken Deep Dish Pizza was delicious. Lots of chicken bathed in a slightly spicy Buffalo sauce, covered in cheese, and on the signature deep dish crust that was soft and chewy on inside, a crispy outside and a crust with crispy cheese on the edge. All in all a delicious meal and...
