KFC — Restaurant in Mooresville

I guess i should explain a bit, So was in Camby getting an oil change done at Walmart and had my dog with me and shes still in training so she cant be taken into businesses at this time and i had to find something to do to pass the time so while i waited i grabbed her and took a walk, From somewhere i smelled chicken and it reminded me of the chicken sandwiches from Popeyes but i knew there wasn't one of those in Camby so the next best thing was KFC and i could have sworn there was a KFC right there where all the restaurants are so i looked it up on the Google maps and i dont know if this ever happened to you but looking at the map it appeared that KFC was maybe a mile or so away, Stupid Google Maps had it looking like it was right down the street until i began walking and the closer i got the further away it got until i zoomed out and realized i could walk there but I'd be froze and by the time it took me to get there it would probably be closed and dark and my car would be done long before then so i knew i had to just walk up to a drive through with my dog and order a couple chicken sandwiches for me and my GS so that's what i ended up doing at Wendy's but just to make sure the damn GPS on my phone was accurate i called KFC and asked the dude how far he was from Walmart in Camby and he said about 4 miles up, So whether that was an accurate distance or not he said there was no KFC in camby, So forget going there, Besides that's the only thing I'll eat from there now since they started cooking everything in that Trans-Fat crapola oil, It's nothing like how KFC used to be and i can't speak for others but whenever i eat KFC chicken i get sick with serious abdominal issues but its only when i eat the chicken but for some odd reason i dont havs that issue with the...

SUMMARY: Decent food with bad service in an unclean, new building.

Food: Good. Just what you'd expect from KFC. Nothing spectacular, but good.

Service: Very bad. No one else was in the restaurant. The young man who took our order did not want to sell me the sampler. He said he didn't like putting together the box it comes in. So we chose another menu item. There were three of us eating there for lunch. Filled our drinks and tried to find a seat. Every table was dirty. I went to the front to ask for a cleaning towel and the young man said he hadn't gotten around to cleaning the tables and didn't know where a cleaning towel was. I found some napkins and used the water from the soda machine to clean off our table and seats. When the food came, he only had 2 of the 3 meals. Mine was missing. It took so long to get my meal the other two were almost finished when I got it. **It is important to mention that the manager was doing most of the work while the young man just stood around and talked to us (about not wanting to fold a box) or played on his phone. She was apologetic and clearly overwhelmed with doing all the work by herself. It would be important to mention that while the indoor dining was empty, the drive through had a steady 1-3 cars during the lunch hour.

Atmosphere: This is a NEW building, so everything looked new. Several nice seating areas. Just dirty. All tables were greasy and had crumbs on it. The seats were also dirty. I did not attempt to try the restroom, since this store had so much trouble trying to keep tables clean with no one...

Went and drive-thru had closed signs over the out of white meat signs and a uhaul at the door. Hopefully packing it up and moving out!

Tried again because son wanted KFC, would be 0 stars if possible. Paper sign on order box that store was closing earlier than posted hours. Girl comes over the speaker with a list of about 10-12 items they didn't have. Went on to order from what they said they did have, 8 PC bucket of DARK meat, and chicken nugget meal. After paying and verifying our items, no fries that was to come with the meal. Another gal comes to the window saying, no fries, so they gave us extra nuggets, no biscuit, so they gave us 9 pcs in the 8 PC bucket. Figuring there was nothing left to do, we go on only to find out once home, we were charged for the 8 PC bucket with mixed pcs including white meat. Charged for the entire meal just for a couple extra nuggets. Nuggets were over cooked, bucket of chicken was definitely end of day, but didn't throw away, horrible. So for 38.00, we did get a good coke. Mooresville had a KFC years ago and dwindled. Should have never tried again. Needs closed again in my opinion.

3 strikes out of 3 on first visit! Chicken was horrible, mashed potatoes were watery and missing biscuits from the order! For the price charged...go to Gray's for chicken instead. Never was a huge fan of KFC, but this trip sure turned it...
