So, we've been an every couple weeks pick up order customer since they opened. My order is the same almost every time we order. House sampler no onion rings and substitute extra nachos in place of the rings (they get WAY too soggy by the time you get them home). The person taking my order usually has to ask the manager if they are able to do the substitution but every time the answer is YES. Well, tonight that all changed. After years of the YES, tonight it was NO. So I asked to talk with the manager myself. After a short time on hold the manager (Ryan) answered and when I asked him why I was getting a NO now after years of the YES to my order request he gave me some BS excuse that it was throwing their inventory off and there would be no way to account for more nachos and no rings. He also said that he was the one that OK'd it last week when we ordered the same thing! He said they had a meeting and it had been decided that there would no longer be substitutions at all due to the inventory issue. I was upset about his stance on the matter but we needed to eat so I ordered and also had to order a FULL order of nachos as well since we couldn't get the extra in place of the rings. $8 and some change for that order of nachos. Whatever, I ordered anyways. I get there to pick up the food and they are missing some sides of marinara for the cheese sticks! What the heck! So here is the real kicker. I get the food home and open it up and what do I see? The house sampler with no onion rings and extra nachos!!! I was just told by the manager that they would not do the substitution so I ordered the extra $8 of nachos!! I guess I won't be getting an apology or my $8 back anytime soon. Especially now that I am going to avoid BWW Moorhead at all costs. "The customer is always right" even when they are wrong. Cardinal rule when a manager deals with customers. I guess the general manager Ryan has a thing or two to learn or his managerial days may be short lived. Can't be rude and feed people a line of BS and think they will keep coming back. Loyalty is what keeps businesses in business. Oh, I hope your forgetting our marinara doesn't mess up your...
Read moreI have been going to this BWWs for a long time and never had bad service until tonight.
We sat in the bar and initially had a young man take our order and get our drinks. We order a couple apps and 40 wings since it was bogo night. All started well but we waited and waited for our apps and they never came. We got our wings, although incorrect and the young man never came to check on us. A blonde server had come and checked on us and got us refills. And noticed we seemed confused with our food. We told her the wings had the incorrect sauce on part of our order, not a huge deal to us. But we had said we never got our apps. She went to go figure out what was going and came back stating that they never got put in. She kindly put them in for us and apologized. She continued to take care of us the rest of the night and did a great job.
The young man never came back until after we had paid our bill to get our check. We had given our other server a cash tip because we wanted to make sure she go the tip she deserved as she helped us.
We then saw the young man go back and look shocked there was not a tip on the credit card and talk to servers in shock there was none. This was really unprofessional and...
Read moreThis is not a negative on the staff at the Moorehead location. But my last three purchases have just been terrible. My most recent one was horrible. The wings tasted like beef jerky and the sauce was dry. How does this food even go out? You pay $25 $30 per person for something you get in a Mexican restaurant that's higher quality and MUCH LESS expensive. Very frustrating.
6/18/25 Since posting my experience 3 months ago, Nothing as far as effort for resolution has occurred. Instead you get a computer generated apology from the "Owner" and are referred to their BW's app that will faithfully take your information and file it along with all the other complaints. What a pathetic way to handle information about how your business is being executed. All the while, your customer has taken the time to let you know something went wrong. It shows how concerned you really are. Just create a computer app and make it look like you are "so concerned". You must think your customers have low expectations because, obviously, this...
