Friendly's — Restaurant in Morris Township

Yummy, yummy food, and made a delivery to my car to accommodate my handicap! However, I did unfortunately see 1 person working in the kitchen, who I'm certain wasn't using the "regulation COVID" process of handling food! As I watched from my parking spot, I saw a gloved man munching on something that looked small in size (like ice cream toppings, nuts, etc.). The munching wasn't the problem! The fact that his gloved hand was touching his mouth/mustache with each mouthful, while being on duty, standing around, waiting to fill incoming customer orders, WITH THAT SAME GLOVED HAND THAT WAS THE PROBLEM!! Now, since I COULDN'T SEE HIM ACTUALLY FILLING AN ORDER with a "unclean" glove, I CAN'T LAY COMPLETE BLAME. It was just something I was watching and not liking, in this time of COVID! W/o the proof, the 4 stars were for everything else. Great food and service that I did...

I ordered crispy chicken salad there was like one piece of chicken it it., not even a whole egg and no crispy noodles . Lady stated they were out of them . They should have asked me if I still wanted the salad with no noodles and they should put something else to complete the salad in return . It is way overpriced for the money. Also they say free sundae yet you have to open an app which is horrible . There are so many apps on phone who wants another one .I decided to go to Friendly again on sept 4 . I ordered clams and fries and coleslaw and I was surprised they finally separated the fries and clams so you know exactly what you are getting . I was happy . The food was good the price still high but food was good. The service was excellent but place was quiet. The coleslaw has the exact amount of Mayo . Not too much and. Not too little. I meet my friends for lunch at Friendly's because it's a convenient location. I'm not impressed with the food or the service. Yesterday we had a waitress that thought she didn't have to write anything down which meant that half the order was wrong. When we asked her to bring things like water she kept forgetting.

I ordered a hamburger which I like medium rare or rare but was told that I can only have well done. One of my friends ordered an omelet and she has many food allergies so she asked that there is no toast on the plate but of course there was toast when we got it. She told the waitress when she brought the plate that there wasn't supposed to be toast in the waitress responded that that's just what they do. She implied that there was no choice in the matter.

After this and other poor experiences we probably won't...
