Good Ole Days has always been a hit and miss. They're a solid 3-star restaurant. We've always had one issue every time we've visited: they are inevitably out of at least one beer that we order. This kinda ticked me off on my latest visit. A month ago I requested the Jackalope Seasonal. Out of it. So I requested the Jackalope Bearwalker. Out of it. So I picked something else.
This visit I requested to know what the seasonal is, and jokingly said if it's out of stock, I'll take the Bearwalker. If it's out of stock, I'll pick something else. Surprise, surprise, both are still gone. I do not know why management never updates the menus or at least puts a little tape over what's not available. Save your wait staff some trouble and your customers some disgruntlement.
Speaking of disgruntlement, the Google page and the door say they're open until 12AM. Our group was sitting at a table since around 9:30. We had paid our bill and were still finishing our beers and having some finishing conversation at 11:05. Some waiter (not ours) came over and informed us that the dining area is closed and if we wanted me could move to the bar area. Basically he politely said "You don't have to go home but you can't stay here." None of us made a fuss but like really? I understand if we came in and you asked us to sit in the bar area, but don't rush off your customers who would likely be leaving in less than 15 minutes anyways just so you can wipe a table and flirt with the rest of the wait staff for the remainder of your shift.
So yeah, good food, beer selection is like playing Russian Roulette where you always lose, and wait staff can suck on occasion. Still better than Buffalo Wild Wings...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe had a group of 5. It took a few minutes for us to be seated, which was perfectly fine, we didn't care about that. We received our drinks and ordered quickly. However, we were very thirsty and ended up drinking all of our drinks. We sat for probably around 30 minutes before we were brought drinks again. There were people who came in after us and were served, and people around us getting drinks, but not us. One of us ordered a salad with the meal, and that was brought out fairly quickly after drinks, but out appetizer was not brought out until our meals were. During our time of waiting, we took notice of amother group in front of us who were also having troubles. I don't know what occurred, but one of the women was told her meal would be taken off her ticket, and she talked to about 2 or 3 waitresses and the cook, all who apologized several times. We waited in total about 30 or 40 minutes for our food. Where we were seated, you could see the food that was ready to be served, and ours had been sitting there for a while. When we finally received our food, it was cold. There was only one person who was satisfied with theirs. The waitress never came back to check on us to see if we needed anything. During eating, we ran out of drinks again, so we all had to finish meals with no drinks. I will not be going back here. Absolute worst service I have...

Before the last month or so Iād give this a 5 star but The last few times I have been in there a lot of the customers has been super sloppy drunk to the point where they should have been cut off but still continued being served. For instance I sat next to a young man on the patio who was physically sick and was on the verge of puking but still was being served. I have also seen the servers bully their customers when they get to a point of being drunk about them being so drunk, when itās the servers right to cut them off when needed. Iām not sure the new managers name but heās tall and skinny with dark circles under his eyes at all times but seems to not have a clue of what heās doing nor a backbone when it comes to fights. The place has gone down hill with management and alcohol control and customer control in the last 2 years or so. This is not a place for young children after 8pm considering all the sloppiness from the customers that the employees should have a handle on. Hope they get it together soon. The owner should have a better grip on his managers and employees. Probably wonāt be back for a long while. Oh I should mention Iāve never been to a place where I openly hear the employees talk trash about customers as soon as they walk away. Very sad and...
