We have eaten at this Texas Roadhouse several times with good results, but today was simply horrendous. I would give them a 0 overall today. We were celebrating 2 birthdays to make this even worse . We will not return . It took over an hour and 7 minutes AFTER being seated and ordering to receive salads...AND even then they forgot to bring one. Yes you read that right....over an hr to bring out a salad! A person in our party had to send his knife back twice as there was dried food on it. The table in front of us received their salads within 10 minutes of sitting down. We were given no explanation why it took so long as our waitress was pretty non-existent. My husband asked for a mgr after we had been seated 1 hr and 18 minutes with still no food. The table in front of us by this time had left after eating their entire meal. They were there total of 35 minutes! We called for the manager who simply said he was sorry and said the waitress had waited to turn in the order. This made us feel like our table was being punished because two dirty knives were returned! It was inexcusable for a manager to KNOW that a waitress had waited to turn in food and that HE knew it yet did nothing! Our granddaughter's dino bites were burnt but were ordered medium. I have a picture of them and all the many employees standing around at the front instead of busing tables , cleaning silverware, or waiting on tables. Then we had to wait again for her food to arrive. That is tough for a 7 yr old who was already starving. Finally the waitress brought over 3 people to do the birthday call-out...but no ice cream for either person. Any other birthday we have celebrated at TRH, it has been around 10 coming over plus they were given ice cream. No worries manager and staff...we will not return to this location and will be sure our party of 6 adults and 2 children (plus 1 to go order ) will give another restaurant our future business. By the way, I am a paid mystery shopper for Ace and they better be glad this was not one of my assignments....the manager did not return to apologize as we left either. However, I assume they absorbed our check. At least that was a positive but too little too late in my book. Worst service we have ever endured at...

Read moreOur food was good as always when we've eaten here. The server started out GREAT! I was actually like heck yeah he's going to be a good one. Brought us another basket of bread when we asked and the rolls were so hot and fresh, yum! We got our salads and food immediately after that; he almost apologized for the food being ready so soon. Then brought salt and pepper back to the table as requested and we didn't see him again until we asked for the bill. My daughter spilled her drink EVERYWHERE, that we cleaned up with our napkins. My husband flagged a waitress down that wasn't ours and she gave us about 10 of the small white napkins and disappeared. The clean up wasn't the problem, the lack of assistance with napkins was a little frustrating when your booth was right in front of a pay kiosk and you have pibb w everywhere. Server finally came to the table and asked if everything was good. Husband mentioned he could of used a drink 10 mins prior (because we hadn't been checked on), but we just wanted a box and the bill. And my husband thanked him for the service sarcastically and the server answered back sarcastically and spouted out stuff all the way to the kitchen. Husband tried to pay at the counter with the manager where he apologized and offered to comp the meal. That was NOT THE POINT. We paid for our meal, manager wouldn't let our parents pay for theirs, which is appreciated- but again not necessary. It was good service the first part of our meal and then there was no service. No one on the table got refills on drinks, there was still a bread basket full of pibb, ice, and pibb filled napkins, and the untouched baked potato and kids slider on the table that we never got a box for when we left the table. Its unfortunate because the young man went from great to nonexistent during our time there until the verbal exchange. I won't say we won't be back because we will. We are roadhouse fans, but hoping for a better outcome next time. Nothing like an intense verbal disagreement to ruin what started out as a seemingly good night. This is not a gripey post, just an experience that ended in...
